Rugby's too random and chaotic. American football the way to go. There's a reason it's the second biggest worldwide sport (and no 1's not rugby of course). I think that it would be a great idea and it could easily be done. The teams wouldn't have to be 11 on 11. It'd be nice too if it was NFL licensed but if not it could still work.
#1: Rugby to chatoic for Mario?! Have you even played any of the Strikers games?! No sport is too chaotic for Mario!
#2: American football is not the world's second most popular sport. That would belong to field hockey, believe it or not (or any form of hockey). American football is only popular in NA. Field hockey is only unpopular in NA. NA is not the world.
#3: They don't need a license. Though I agree with the fact that it wouldn't have to be 11 on 11.
