A modern day Kain? Looks very promising indeed. I'm following this one for sure.

For the life of me I can't seem to activate a nimpo attack. I press triangle and circle to activate but nothing happens. I thought I'd come here and ask the experts. Thanks in advance!
It's my understanding that the locations to find Shalidor's books is ramdon. My map marker points me to a location northwest of Solitude. The nearest location I found near that marker is Shadowgreen Cave. I went in but found no book. It that the right location or shoild I be looking for another spot? Thanks in advance!
Update: I worked thru the freezes (load game save before the freeze) and now I can say that I beat the game on Private. Thanks for everyone's input, insight and encouragement!
I'm having the same problem as well, deleting games from the now playing list. There is also a bug when I go to my profile page and I am immediateltly redirected to another page.

no your 360 is not dying and installing will not help quake 4 its just a badly programmed game so no matter what it gets choppy. there's a reason for it though quake 4 was a launch game for the 360. They rushed it to make the release.

Gen007, I think you're right. I put in a couple of other 360 games and they're playing ok. Darn, so close to the end of Quake 4 and I think I'm going to have to give up on it.
Glad to hear its not your console. Sorry to hear about the game though. I've played poorly developed games and it is frustrating especially when you're into it. Decision time: 1) Forget the game its not worth the headache; or 2) Work your way through the stalls and freezing just to get to the end. If you're that close to finishing it keep plugging away so your time playing was not in vain.I've done No. 2 for most of this morning and part of the afternoon and not advancing very far. I'm starting to lean to decision No. 1 now.

[QUOTE="XCyberForceX"] Installing on the HDD will defintely speed up loading and may, I said may, alleviate your freezing. It couldn't hurt to try. Installing means the drive will not be running and may actually help your console run cooler. If you don't see a difference then your console may sending you hints of what may come in the future (hope not though).
Gen007
I'm not seeing a difference at all and my 360 maybe sending me hints of things (RRoD) to come. Thanks for your input and everybody else who answered as well.
P.S. Could I have too many saves from that one game (63). Would deleting the majority of them help in any way? I did clear the cache to no avail.
