Casey is a mod isn't he? There's people whose been here since the site started still.

travisstaggs

Casey the mod. Yup. I have been banned a couple times by him. He used to mod over at system wars. I see system wars has changed. When I was there, we had xbox, PS2 and Gamecube fanboys flamming each other. Xbox fanboys were called lemmings. PS2 fanboys were called cows. Gamecube fanboys were called kiddies. I was a "Kiddy." I defended the Gamecube to the death lol. Now everything seems too tame in System Wars. Check out my posting history to see what it was like.

Welcome back! I've only been here a year, and I love it.

Why don't you stay awhile?

MasterBolt360

I plan on staying a while. I want to catch up on what going on in the videogame industry. I sometimes follow the videogame stocks such as EA (ERTS), Nintendo (NTDOY), THQ, Microsoft (MSFT), and Sony (SNE). Those are the ticker symbols. I'll be over in the sports talking football.

I've been a member since August, 8th of 2003. :o Am I the oldest account holder person here? If so, everyone bow down to me! :P Sadly, my interest in videogames is completely gone.. As I graduated from highschool and went on to graduate from University, my interest changed from videogames to financial investing. I have a double major in Finance and Business Economics, btw. My video game is day trading stocks on the S&P 500, commodities and options. Sadly, the last system I have is a Nintendo Gamecube. I sometimes get nostalgic as I see it sitting there all dusty. The other day I opened it only to find Madden 2005 in it. Fond memories of that game. Metroid Prime and Super Mario Sunshine are in my collection. I have been behind so much on video gaming that I didn't know there was a new Halo out, or a new Metroid for the Wii, or a DS Lite, or a PS3 Move.

Well, just dropping by to say hi. I see all by buddies from back in the day are gone as well. CaseyWagner, Ryanthegod etc...

When I was younger, all before I discovered my current self, I used to be into all sorts of British, Irish and Scottish rock and indy bands. I was going to make a topic about some of them because I was curious how people from other places of the world and of other generations might of heard of them. Maybe i'll still do that once i've givern it more thought,

These bands such as Jamesand The Cranberriesand Travis. I used to be seriously into that stuff, listening on headphones before going sleep. Awww, life before the bitterness and unhealthy fetishes. I still got a soft spot for it all, for some reason that music always makes me proud to be a celtic.

Dude, do you go to Southern Illinois is Carbondale? I couldn't help but notice the SIU mascot.

I agree. I do miss Rey's devil mask, however. Ahh, the WCW days....

It's really difficult to answer this question when most of the people posting on this forum have lived through three presidencies (George H.W. Bush, Clinton, George W. Bush).

You guys are sadly mistaken if you believe that Microsoft and Sony don't try and market their system toward the casual gamer. Believe me, they do, otherwise you wouldn't see games like Madden, Viva Pinata, Rockband, or Guitar Hero advertised so heavly on their respective systems. Let's face it, there are more casual gamers in the market that "hardcore gamers." Anyone with good business sense would try to tap into this market and try to make a profit not only for the survival of their product, but also for the survival of their company. No fault goes on Nintendo, they just do a better job appealing to the majority audience.
