@Mudo7 I think I reasoned enough with him, and if he didn't get it thats his problem, but he keeps on insisting that there is a REQUIREMENT for the cable box, and his "proof" of that is a quote from Microsoft that says that if you want to use the HDMI passthorugh you will require the cable box.

Well no shit shurlock, If I want to connect my cable box to the xbox I will require a cable box.

MY POINT is that the cable box is NOT REQUIRED because you can just use the APP.

HOWEVER if you have a DVR and not a simple cable box, you will be able to plug that through the HDMI passthrough and use it with your X1.

And yes this will save people money, because not everyone has multiple DVRs around the house, and replacing a simple cable box with a X360 or X1(By using the fucking APP and not the hdmi passthrough) will save people 10.25$ a month.

YES you CAN plug in your cable box in to the X1, we fucking know that.

They signed a partnership with Time Warner and created an APP for their services which you can use on the 360 and the X1, HOWEVER for the X1 it IS NOT REQUIRED to use the app since you can just simply plug in your cable box in to it just like you can with other cable boxes or other devices.

If you don't get after this then Im done with you, Ill just for the next Sony firmware update to fix the problem with you Drones.
