Its no Wii Sports, that's for sure. I mainly got it for an extra remote. The game's so-so. I mostly play Billiards and the Shooting Range games.

[QUOTE="magiciandude"]IV. Vitrual Console/Backward Compatible

Q: Even though Rare was bought by Mircosoft, will I still be able to download the classic Rare games?

A: With the exception of Donkey Kong, no, you will NOT be able to download Rare classics such as Perfect Dark, and Gemini Force.

Q: Does the same apply for Goldeneye?

A: Rare sold the GoldenEye series to EA, so it's up to EA.vauba_haoly

You really ought to get your facts straight before posting a FAQ answer. The following N64 Rare developed games were all published by Nintendo: Killer Instinct Gold, Blast Corps, Goldeneye, Banjo-Kazooie, Donkey Kong 64, Mickeys Speedway USA, and Banjo-Tooie.

Only four were published and developed by Rare: Diddy Kong Racing, Jet Force Gemini, Perfect Dark, and Conker's Bad Fur Day.

You see, Rare did not sell Goldeneye to EA because Rare never owned Goldeneye. They only developed it. Nintendo owns the game Goldeneye. EA bought the liscense from MGM studios, not Nintendo or Rare, to make new games based on the James Bond license, but that does not give them ownership of previous James Bond games.

Rare is barred from developing new games for the other major consoles since being bought by Microsoft. That does not automatically mean Microsoft will stop them from putting games out on the virtual console. They are still letting Rare develop games for Nintendo's handhelds afterall and I think Microsoft would earn more money than it would lose if they did.

Will the games PUBLISHED by Nintendo get on the Virtual Console or does the fact that Rare was involved with those games period mean none of them can get on the Virtual Console? I think a list would help your FAQ out a lot and put an end to this once and for all. Also will Rare affect any of the other four systems on the VC or this just concern the N64?

I'm surprised nobody asked this one yet:

Do we know when Nintendo will tell us the fees for downloading the games on the Virtual Console?
