[QUOTE="superbradleyo77"] [QUOTE="borts"][QUOTE="superbradleyo77"]I absolutely despise the idea of instant replay in baseball. Bad calls have always been a part of the game, and it disgusts me that I have to live in a time when a God damned computer is going to fix them.borts
That don't make sense if you can get the major game changing calls right why don't you. Homeruns are going to change the game alot obviously so why not get those calls right? They should get it right the first time, and frustrating as it is when they don't, it's part of the game, and it has been for over 100 years. It'll start with just home run calls, move on to fair/foul balls (not home runs), then safe or out, and it will get to the point that a computer is calling balls and strikes.
I really doubt there going to move to safe or out ever. Because even if they tried that i gurntee you that it would kill baseball because of all the reviews. Trust me i bet when it comes around and it saves your teams ass in a big game you'll be like i love instant replay.Borts, you obviously don't respect the tradition of baseball. Instant replay is nothing but a slap in the face to umpires. I took that out of what Kenny Rodgers of the Detroit Tigers had to say about the subject. And I agree with Rodgers 100%. Even before I heard what he said I still didn't like the idea.
