PS3 may not be as backwards compatible as one might think it is.... How huge is your PS2/PS1 libary, anyway?Threesixtyci

I got the PS3 the first day it came out, so I'm not worried about the compatibility issue - so far I have 18 PS2 games and 16 PS1 games.

So I currently own a PS3 (PS2 and PS1 compatible), Xbox 360 (Xbox compatible), Dreamcast, SNES, NES and Genesis.

I wanted to hear from you guys if I am missing any other systems that are worth getting and playing. I'm not trying to collect all of the systems because some of them are just plain bad, but are there any others that offer a good library of games.

I've been looking at the Sega Saturn recently, but I'm not sure how the games are.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone know of any good beat-em-ups other than the Final Fights and any strategy RPGs other than Ogre Battle on the SNES? Thanks in advance.

Yea, and that's only for the cartridge itself. If you're looking for a complete copy, expect to spend more than $200.

So I'm looking to buy another classic Sega system (I already own the Dreamcast), but I'm not really sure which one to get. I know there is the Genesis, 32x, Saturn, etc. Which one would you guys recommend that is a classic and offers some quality games. I know the Genesis will get the most response, but how are the other systems? Thanks.

So here are the facts: I have an American dreamcast with a mint copy of Shenmue -NTSC version. The four CD's have absolutely no scratches or marks on them, but for whatever reason, the first CD can never boot up. It always gets to the SEGA screen, but after that, it goes to the main Dreamcast menu. I tried CD's two and three and those work fine, but one never boots up. Can anyone tell me what's going on or if there is something I need to do first? Thanks.

Yeah, most of my experiences have been great, but occassionally I will get a loser. For instance, I order complete, mint black labels of Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy 8. Not that rare, but I wanted them to finish off my collection. Anyways, while I did receive them in mint condition, the freaking manuals were missing. Now how the hell do you list the game as complete when the manuals are missing. The pictures that they were even using included the manuals.

I consider my Dreamcast pretty rare too, along with the games
