Nobody should have expected mods in Online Multiplayer in the first place. Nothing ruins online multiplayer gaming faster than someone cheesing up their characters. GTAO is a competitive online mode, so everyone should be on equal footing.
The only place mods belong are in offline singleplayer. That's where the mods and the Cheat Codes belong. And apparently they are bringing back the same cheat-code phone numbers that were in GTA4 for the singleplayer mode, which is cool.
Summoning costs Insight:Goddammit what the hell is this shit? Why is such a vital part of the "Souls" experience locked behing a price tag that demands seriously limited currency. Oh you're out of Insight outside of a boss battle? Well tough luck cuz summoning NPCs to help ALSO costs you insight. "Where is the nearest place to get more", well you kill the boss you needed help defeating of course. Genius!
Not sure if you realized but insight is a play on world tendency. The more you have the more difficult enemies/bosses are. The less you have the easier they are.. Also if you are out of insight and want to summon for a boss, you can gain insight by helping someone else beat the boss. Help someone else first and then get help for yours.. Pretty neat
I'm playing offline though. I have to pay for PS+ in order to have a viable way to farm for Insight... to summon a fuckin NPC helper. lool
the game is not meant to be played offline.. coop and invasions are an integral part of the experience.. damn sony for charging for online though. I dished out for 3 months of it myself. basically made bloodborne an $80 game for me
I play completely offline, with no PS+ sub and I'm loving the game. Just did my first Chalice Dungeon run tonight too.
Well, looks like Online is about to get wrecked...
There is apparently a DUPE GLITCH active that lets you make unlimited Coldblood Dews, Frenzied Blood and any other consumable item in the game... There are videos of people with level 155+ characters absolutely wrecking bosses. I can't imagine how badly this will affect multiplayer modes like invasions... or make Trophies worthless.
And it doesn't require hacking or modding of any kind. It's stupid easy to do.
They better patch this game fast before it goes to crap.
Honestly, while it's shitty if people max out their characters and destroy bosses and go online (although they'll only be fighting each other), i can understand people who use it as a means of rebuilding their character (to the same level).
What's even more odd is that the video I came across that explains the glitch, step-by-step, was posted by GAMESPOT. It's a freaking TUTORIAL lol.
My biggest complaint is that the game's trophies are now worthless. They'll all wind up being bronze and won't really feel special to unlock them.
