I am already fed up with 90% of your news and everything being videos. Especially since I can't watch my videos or play games with sound (personal reasons) and the fact that so much interesting stuff is video only and there is nothing to cater to people who are hard of hearing.

I might as well go to another site if you guys are going to continue leaving def and hard of hearing in the dark.

Terrible design. Pretty much on par with the fetis pig and the ice cream cone from that gen. Its all disjointed and ugly.

I consider Tekken 2 and 3 to be the best fighting games ever made, but overall I'd say Mortal Kombat takes the crown for best fighting series.

Barring some of the unfortunate later entries, the early ones really defined what a fun fighter is and had a host of secrets, while the reboot in 2011 is easily the best fighting game this gen with an absurd amount of characters and secrets, several modes to keep you occupied, some great DLC, and a highly balanced and polished fighting system that would make the game a blast even if it didn't have so many secrets and so much variety.

About Tekken 2 and 3 though, I consider Tag Tournament 2 the best in the series by a long shot. I've played 4, 5 6 and TTT2 and only a little bit of 3. I need a new controller for my PS1.

Tekken? That's not how you spell Guilty Gear, the best of the genre.

Was never a fan of Guilty Gear honestly. Arc Sys makes some great games (even with horridly abysmal localization practises). Always wanted to try Arcana Heart 3. Persona 4 Arena I'm boycotting though.

Why is this so important? This is your first go-to.

Characters are an important part of fighting games. Just like MOBAs. If we didn't have interesting characters to play as there is no point in them. Virtua fighter doesn't appeal to me because of it's uninspired characters. With MOBAs, I love LoL's diverse and interesting character designs and personalities.

Also, sexy characters are a must for fighting games. Men as well.

Admit it guys, forget BlazBlue, forget Street Fighter, forget DoA, Tekken is balls to the wall phenomenal.

It's everything in a fighting game done right. Hot girls? CHECK (Lili and Xiaoyu are hotter than any girl in DOA put together), FREE DLC? CHECK, The most diverse and balanced character rosters in fighting games? Fvck yeah!

I'm sad though. This series doesn't get any notice on SW. It's all ArseSys and Crapcom that gets all the notice. Damn casuals don't know what a good game is because they can't land a single hit on Tekken.

Throw in TTT2's AMAZINGG online mode (connectivity options ftw) and the game STILL managing to surpass any fighter in SP mode diversity we have a winner.
