I do not believe in a world of black or white, nor in a world of grey, I believe in a world of colors, different situations, different exceptions, broken rules, and wrong rules.

I believe in a combination of both science and religion, and I dont see as any religion as right or wrong, I have my own religion and it is was I follow, but I respect other religions as well. I believe in the possibility of christ, and I do follow many of his ways, but I will not blindly follow the bible as if it was a "how to live" guide book.

From the atheist to the religious fanatic, I find them all beautiful in some way, and although I may not agree with them, I find that their diverse decisions is much need in this world, if everyone was a christian things would be alot more boring, and if everyone was atheist things would be just as boring.

Long story short, believe in what you want to, and love others regardless of what they believe.

10,000 hours is a conservative estimate. I played a lot of LLWS, NES Open, TMNT 1,2, and 3, Captain Skyhawk, Dragon Warrior, and Abadox on the NES growing up.FragStains

ah... yes the classics. The clicky, clicky, kicky, kicky, feel of them is hard to beat. I played alot of river city ransom with my brother, we would always end up screaming at each other but good times. Yet I didnt play too much while I younger!

How many hours of experience would you say you have in gaming from your whole life? I mean just actual playtime, nothing else.

Id say I have about 10-11,000 hours.

Mostly from WoW and other RPGs, alot from Halo as well, est.

Im thinking of getting oblivion on my computer and just wondering if my system specs are good enough for an enjoyable experience.

Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro

RAM: 4 Gigz

Harddrive: 500 gigs

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E4500 @ 2.20GHz, 2200 MHz, 2 Core(s), 2 logical Processor(s)

Cooling system: Is a little overkill... aka its good.

Im also running on vista but can slap on windows 98 if needed.

Not exactly an expert on computer tech, if you can give me any ideas of hardward or software that will help and that I wont need to give an arm and a leg to get please let me know, also any other advice on getting this computer gaming good let me know.

Ok I'm up late at night, I can't sleep, and I got a lot of free time, so I got a game idea. Also please note that I'm not staying within any realm of possibility, because I don't just care... ENJOY!

Now I was thinking of some sort of RPG/Mixture PC game. Like WoW, Warhammer, and many other games of that nature, you can choose on different classes you want, but the one of the many things that makes this game special is that the class you choose determines what kind of game you will be playing throughout the story of this one.

THE WORLD...

I'm just going to leave that there for now just to keep you interested, anyways... now instead of a Diablo style linear path follower, I was thinking of an epic open world, but instead of zones this is just one big map. Yet the map is set off to four levels, underground, sky (Like sky castles, airships, stuff like that), land, and sea. There is no load time to go anywhere except for the dungeons, you got to have the dungeons, especially in the underground section.

The whole Land area of the map is like a multi-colored fortress, that's sure to make you feel a bit trippy, filled with loads of strange wild life and creatures, but also with signs of civilized life, from the old houses, all the way up to the super massive kingdom fortresses.

The sky area is like a floating island theme, with large roots and bridges to connect the islands to one and another; it's like a dream state world, with streams of energy flowing by, massive structures, and creatures galore. Remember this is still all one map, so if you look down the side of one of the islands, you can see the ground below.

The underground areas are extremely diverse, from a massive techno-themed city that is built on the ruins of some ancient catacombs, to the lower and darker hellish themed underworlds of the twisted and malevolent entities from beyond.

Finally the sea and coastal areas surround the western side of this map, from flowing streams that connected to the larger ocean; there is an abundance of life and ancient ruins. On the coastal ends, there are some times large city ports with gigantic ships from many nations.

Now what I want for people to be impressed by this map is the raw scale of it, I want people to exit a narrow path at the end of a mountain into an open plain, and see an entire city with every building in sight. Like in earlier games such as assassins creed and so forth, just sheer epicenes the moment you enter into this world. This world you will be in shall be dubbed The Decades, a bit of an unorthodox name I know but sounds kind of cool, SHUT UP I'm tired...

Now as for story, well I could probably keep going and never stop with this part, so I will just do this one later as well, now as for the game play...

ENEMIES...

Keeping your suspense high about the character class specialty, I'm to tell you about your opponent's abilities, looks, and A'I. Now I'm thinking of many kinds of enemies, all the way from your humble starter wolf/mole rat, up to the hundred foot tall behemoth juggernaut with death grip. Yet their A,I will put into three categories, single unit, group unit, and special boss unit. Which unit they are will depict on how they will handle trying to kill you. I don't want some half retarded guy charging you only to die, and I don't want them to ignore you because you're just out of their ten foot agro range. I want an enemy that actually uses tactics and will change those tactics based on how you fight them and what your class is.

Single Unit: Now if the unit is a melee based, he will either try to charge and chop your head off, or he will go into a defensive stance to try to stay alive better. Yet if they are a range you, they will attempt to take cover and fire upon you from a safe location, a single unit might even lure you into a trap or into a group of units, then their tactics will change when they try to ambush you.

Group Units: Group units mostly try to support each other, like if one takes too much damage, it will back off and let another take its place. They will also try to surround and out flank you, if they use A,O,E effects they try to pinpoint the most dense part of your group and the others will run from that spot when it is used, they will also run from you A,O,E effects as well so you need to keep them immobilized or use something quickly. Their tactics also depend on your location as well, so keep that in mind when you play this game that doesn't exist :D.

Special Boss Units: Now many boss units' AI is special to them or any boss similar to it. They act in their own ways and maybe simple or completely rage like and erratic. They might stomp you to death, or lure you for a series of obstacles to save their own hide.

Now each type of lesser units' (Non-Bosses) health slowly regenerates, so if they run away they will eventually heal to full, as for most bosses they just stay like that until they reset or die.

PLAYER CLASSES AND DIFFERENT GAME STYLES...

Now finally I am to the classes, now as I said you can play multiple styles of games depending on which class you choose, if you choose a ranged class, you could be playing a 1st person shooter character, if you choose a quick melee class, you could be playing something like ninja gaiden, it doesn't change the world around you, just your character.

Each class can sprout off into four sub-classes, to further customize your character and its abilities, oh yeah THAT'S original, but it works.

GUNMAN: The Gunman's controls and view is like a mixture of Halo and Bioshock, you can see your char's hand on screen you will have a customizable tech like interface, showing your ammo, health, your weapon's durability, and so forth. Your mobility is moderate but your fire people is grand, pistols, shotguns, sniper rifles, and even steam powered rail guns (fallout fans), bows and arrows, and also shoulder mounted ballista. The weaponry is vast and unique, and how you handle it depends on your spec.

Here are the 4 sub-specs for the GUNMAN class...

Super Soldier: in this spec your durability, endurance, health, and aim is a lot better, your abilities in jumping, dodging, and others are improved, and your overall knowledge of weapons can be slightly increased.

Trigger Happy: Your projectile weaponry and dps output is increased, your shotgun blasts pack more of a kick back, and your machine guns shoot faster, you can rip through enemies with single unit targeting and pick them off quickly.

Sniper: Your ranged abilities have been increased, although you shoot slower, your damage for each shot is increased, and you can shot further, and see farther. Your mobility while in the special sniper mood is slow but you gain a 120% damage increase.

Bombardment: Your explosives, incendiary, traps, and heavy weaponry is more versatile and useful, you can bombard a small area, lay traps, and take out mass amount of units at once, when you carry heavy weaponry you move slow but your damage is incredible.

SHADOW: a Shadow is you quick, ninja-like dps class, with slight CC (Crowd Control) abilities. It's a high mobility class that's a mixture of DMC and Ninja Gaiden. You leap and twirl as you unleash combos to hack and slash. Its camera view is at moderate range to allow you to see a good deal of your surroundings, you can either dps a single target or spastic rage on multiple targets with whirls and twirls.

Sub-specs...

Stealth: You hide in the shadows and attack from behind; you use mostly piercing weapons for this, smaller and more easily concealed. Your attack speed is moderate but your damage is consistent, you need to stay behind the target to do max damage, but can still do a little face to face.

Hectic: This spec is more of a frontal quick attacker, fast weak hits with two weapons. High critical chance and high mobility makes this one a favorite. You can bounce off the walls as you hack and slash your way to victory.

Sledger: With this spec, you drag around a heavy and very large two handed weapon, while not attacking your mobility is slow, but once you swing your weapon the weight of it allows you to throw yourself about like a ragdoll. It's slow but heavy hitting, and your durability is slightly increased.

Tricky: This allows you to somewhat manipulate your opponent, such as stabbing them in the eye, slashing their ten dents, or hitting them with some sort of poison. Not so much on the damage end but is a lot of fun.

JUGGERNAUT: The Juggernaut is more of the warrior tank class, every game like this needs them, but they can do some much more. The feel and controls of it is very unique, a mixture of Gears of War and World of Warcraft. It's an over shoulder view, your movement and style is like the two games I just named, and I'm having a hard time describe it.

Specs...

Dreadnaut: this spec is a very brutal mixture of medium range throwing weapons, and heavy fist like weaponry that allows you to brutalize your opponents. Your weapons are like brass-knuckles just... bigger and cool looking. You can use thrown weaponry such as grenades or rocks, maybe spiked balls with chains, and more. Your melee attacks are bunching and beating on your opponent, ever box a dragon? WELL YOU CAN NOW!

Teranaut: A somewhat higher mobility and easier to use spec, Teranaut switches your strength from just raw combat, to being a bit more... flexible. Allows you to leap far distances, dodge in combat, and use hit and run guerilla tactics to confuse your enemy.

Giganaut: Two handed weapon based, slow but heavy damage, your movement and mobility is somewhat moderate but your ability to bash around your enemies and send them flying is great. Stun them or impale them into the ground, you choose.

Bulgernaut: Now here is tank spec, but it is quite special, you use a shield of course, but you can do much with it. If you lock on to a target, you can just use the keyboards to circle them and use your mouse to move the shield to cover which ever spot of your body you think your enemy is attacking. You can also duck and roll to avoid damage and your armor and health is greatly increased.

BRIGARDIER: Here is a class I bet you didn't expect to find, this is a RTS special class that allows you to control a variety of minions to do your bidding, and I'm not talking about a few henchmen no, I mean at most of 50 small units that surround you. You can even choose your unit formation, their behavior, and much more.

Dark Lord: this spec allows you to control dark vicious beasts and minions to do your bidding, they are more of damage over time abilities and can't much damage, but your character as more crowd control abilities to manipulate your enemies, you can even mind control some of them.

Druid: This spec makes your character more resilient and allows you to take more damage; your minions are tree-people, imps, and things of that nature. Although you are weak towards fire, this spec makes you more enduring then anything.

Commander: Allows you to buff your group and any ally nearby, you control minimal offensive units but you command a advanced selection of medics that you can make follow anyone you choose to keep them healthy. This is a support class, and is quite squishy, but is very useful.

Tyrant: This is the high dps spec, you control a horde of creatures that you bend to your will, and they are steroid packed henchmen that beat on your enemies until they are dead. Your durability is moderate, and your damage is high, but you must keep your minions alive to keep up the damage.

If you want to see more classes, the game story, and more about the game mechanics, just give me some good comments, now screw you guys I'm going back to bed... also I didn't proof read this so eh...
