Download CPUZ, that ought to clear things up. The 3.01Ghz after it implies that the chip is overclocked, CPUZ will tell you what your processor is actually running at.

This. Mine says 3.00GHz 3.86GHz. It's 3.00 stock, but overclocked to 3.86

Not in games its not, if you look at benchmarks Vista is currently better in most games due to it having much better driver support currently...this may change in the future but we cant be sure.

Where did you see this? In everything i have seen, win 7 has the edge over vista.

Modular is worth $20 IMO, but if you're on a budget the other will do the job perfectly finemarkop2003
I totally agree. I moved up to a modular psu for my current pc,. i don't know how i ever used standard psu's lol
