What people don't remember is that Diablo II want the game we know and love until the expansion came out. Before that the game was the same mess. Hacked, poorly looted, buggy and lacking in endgame content. Lord of Destruction was the fix for all the problems (minus the hacks). It could be said that Reaper will act as the renaissance that Diablo III needs to be relevant to the PC audience.
