I agree with you drxym - but one thing I think is terrible at the moment is the lack of games (decent or otherwise) at the moment for the PS3 - it's the same handful of games every time I go to the shop or look at the gamespot chart, it sucks. Xbox 360 at least is getting a decent amount of games, every time I see a game I like it always seems to be on Xbox 360, rarely PS3. I hope this situation changes, the reaons I bought the PS3 was for the reasons you mentioned plus the fact that it doesn't sound like a 747 taking off every time you start it, it's completely silent which is great (and keeps the wife happy!). Just lucky I do most of my gaming on the PC I suppose!

I have this spec: Intel Core 2 E6600, GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB, 2GB RAM, XP and there are just to many times in this game where it slows down to unbearable levels. I can play every other game maxed out at 1400x900 (monitor doesn't go any higher) but I'm probably going to give up on this one - I don't think the engine runs well at all. I'm trying to run it at 1024 x 768 but the game starts to flash blue every 15 secs or so at this resolution - any ideas why?!
