@xantufrog, during my play through i came across the lens flare effect quite often at night time, just like the ones in the short movie i have shared, if you are talking about something else, then i don't think i have seen it in the game... :)

it's called "jj abrams' lens flare" in the media, it has been overused in many of his films, hence the name, i don't think much of it, it is an artistic choice of the creators... :D

the first game that i owned was space invaders on zx spectrum, the first i played should be pong in an arcade... :)

@hiccupshe, wildlands is ok, but just that, it doesn't suck you in, or makes you care about the story, it's a run of the mill 3rd person shooter with a long checklist, where the focus was to put in as much as a dev team can without excelling in any of them... well the open world is ok, unless you get stuck in the geometry, which happened to me twice yesterday and had to commit suicide with frag grenades, after which magically my ai teammate found me in my stuck position, revived me and teleported out, at which point i had to kill myself again with c4... :)

there seems to be no collision mechanic with the flora as well, which i reckon is good since your character cannot jump over obstacles without the game prompting for it... :D

i would only recommend this game if you are a true tom clancy games' fan or a sucker for 3rd person shooters... :)

@hiccupshe: i have only played the first mission before going out, i am intending to play it through the whole day today, my first impression is ok, the framerate did not seem to be as choppy as the beta, however it's too early to judge... :)

i just bought gr: wildlands, since it was on sale on psn, i'll also wiat for a price drop anda acouple of patches for andromeda...

@GTR12, i reckon @atomolog used the verb "can" in the meaning of a possibility as can be found in dictionaries... not all of the patched games do run at a higher framerate unless it is indicated, not all of the regular ps4 games run optimal in boost mode... however many games do run better (either framerate-wise or graphics fidelity-wise) on ps4 pro with 1080p resolution either patched or in boost mode... if you do not believe me, just check digitalfoundry videos... :)

@SoAmazingBaby: me neither, i haven't bought the last dlc, and haven't played it for maybe over a year... :)

@SoAmazingBaby: it really did, i was shocked at first but the gameplay and expansions kept me coming back, i just wish the graphics were more fluid with a higher framerate... :)

anyhow, i am torn between mass effect and ghost recon as i need a new game to start... :)
