The comments that this isn't a big deal based on gender are off base. The recent commotion over SOPA revolved around the notion that the internet is still a Wild West. The fact that anonymous people can rip someone to the point they feel bullied and harrassed over innocuous comments (for the record, her comments make perfect sense - I play LOTRO and have occasionally thought it would be much easier to just "fast forward" through some of the pointless 'combat' sequences while harvesting in order to craft) shows that this Wild West mentality is perceived in many quarters, not just with regards to copyright, or women's issues. If people keep abusing their freedoms, eventually, they will lose them. It never fails that a handful of people ruin a good thing for everyone.
