I'm thinking the episodes could star an assortment of past RE characters that haven't seen the spotlight for some time. I thought of this instantly, after remembering how Capcom did the episodic release for DR3's DLC.
Now that sindel single-handedly killed half the roster of MK9, do you think they will revive some of those who fell? What other characters from MK4 would you like to see return?
You have a valid point. The only other thing I thought about was that warner bros. wanted a game to accompany the next mortal kombat film. However, we have yet to receive concrete details on that either. A film that was originally reported to debut Q3 2013 has now been forgotten. Now MK Legacy season 2 will debut around the same time. Anyway maybe the film will release in 2014 or 2015 and allow both studios time to fiinish production.
Since Ed has expressed his desire to create for next gen consoles, My theory is... With the announcement of the PS4 coming this month, there will be a reveal possibly in at gamescom or the VGAs this year. I would expect a release date of Q3-Q4 2014. This would allow them ample time to create, since Ed stated in September that the team had not yet begun working on an MK Sequel. Also, the reason why I don't believe that there will be an E3 reveal, is because they are going to want to continue promoting Injustice and don't want to distract their potenetial cutomers from that.
