The hardest part of any GT game for me is choosing a starting car :Pcarlisledavid79

I remember in GT3 and if I'm not mistaken 4. If you golded the driving tests then you were awarded with a pretty awesome car from the start.

That's what I used to start instead of just purchasing a cheap car.

With all the hype surrounding this game, who thinks that the review sites will be fair in the reviews?

I just feel like it's going to be a "fan fare" review.

My favorite GT game was 3 and 4 got traded in on the first Forza game as I didn't like it.

I've been planning on getting GT5 for my PS3, but I'm definitely going to GameFly it first.

With as large as the game is to the community and the amount of hype surrounding the game, what say you?

I'll be waiting for the reasonably priced Battle Chest.

@KH

Let me reword that for you then.

*ahem* Blizzard is simply charging 20% more for Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty than standard PC games and 33% more for Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm and Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void than standard PC expansions....because they can

@icy

Do kids not get taught economics in school anymore?

My Z28 MSRP was more than $26k in 2002. I paid $10k

My wife's WRX MSRP was more than $25k in 2003. I paid $12k

Moving to a 1 car family with the 2010 S4, which costs more than $46k MSRP. We're waiting 3 years until we can find a certified used one for under $28k.

@icy

People aren't stupid. I agree. Consumers in the "Gotta have it now crowd" on the other hand.... ;)

Which isn't an expansion. Just because they are charging $60 for the main game doesn't mean they're charging $60 for the expansions, which is the claim we're combating.

Speculation =/= proof.

KHAndAnime

I don't think anyone in this thread says otherwise.

If Blizz says $40 then so be it.

I forgot that a little price gouging is ok for everyone even though paying $40 instead of $30 is more than 30% profit

FilipeInside seems to be the only person that "Get's it."

Slippery slope folks.
