@JustPlainLucas: The cartridge isn't the problem, it's the age of the console. ANY cartridge can make it happen at this point, not this one. Again, they're trying to cover their legal bases because some idiot would try to sue them if it happened thinking it happened because of this cartridge.

Read the article, not just the clickbait title.

@WuShogun212: Read the article again. The game isn't what could make it burst into flames, it's the age of the console. They're just covering all their legal bases as best they can.

The title is misleading and making people think it's the game cartridge itself that could make your SNES burst into flames. What they're saying is, basically:

"Here's a cartridge that works with your SNES, but hey, your SNES is old by now and things corrode/break down over time, so plugging that bad boy back in after so long might possibly make your SNES kick the bucket by catching fire."

They're not saying the GAME will cause it, they're saying your SNES is old as shit so if you still have it and use it, be aware things happen with old components that have dust in 'em and such.

@dr_vancouver: I agree with you, they really are quite pretty! And in fact I myself might change my plates soon: we just got special plates in that, if you pay for them, some of the proceeds go towards the national parks here!

I'd get the nene goose ones in a heartbeat. If I could get you the pretty rainbow plates for the bread I'd do it!

@dr_vancouver: I'd trade my rainbow license plates for that wonderful cheese bread you have at Cobb's bakeries over there! Every time I visit my bf in Victoria I go nuts for them. I so wish he'd mail me some. I don't care if they're smushed!

@dr_vancouver: Hell, in Hawaii we had shit until Corsola came along. It isn't super-exclusive but at least it was something. We weren't considered part of "North America" when it came to exclusives.

@Pelezinho777: The moment I saw you mention "masonic propaganda" above I learned all I needed to about you. Have fun with your "Freemasons and/or Illuminati Control Everything" paranoia.
