Ok, my second xbox broke, (3 red lights), and so I sent it in, and then I got the new one, and two days later, it broke with the same problem... what the heck?! So once I get my new one, I'll be on my forth xbox, I wish my first one's cd drive didn't die, it lasted for over a year and then these other 2 died rapid fire.

From me, my recomendation is lotr hands down, i own both, and I much prefer lotr. I've played it since it came out the same way i played halo 2... command and conquer has too many buildings to deal with, and people mass things WAY too much... lotr seems to be more skill at commanding ones army while command and conquer is pure speed.

I think one person complained and got a free game one time, but you gotta complain to a manager in a calm, but forceful manner, yelling does NOTHING.

Otherwise, if you want a 360, you have to deal with this kinda stuff, mine is currently being repaired for the second time. They said they'd give me a 30 day free xbox live card, but that's useless to me because I get gold xbox live for free anyway.

My second 360 is now broke with a GPU error. I could fix it but i'd rather send it in for repair.

"This is done by replacing the X clamps which hold the GPU heatsink in place with heavier clamps designed for use on Socket 775 CPU heatsinks, but this will void the warranty on the system" -Wikipedia

The reason i'm sending it in is due to the latter part of that sentence.

The HDMI is only worth it if you have a TV that can actually support 1080p (or i) resolutions. And not just support the signal, but actually display it and not scale down to 720p (or i). VERY FEW TV's can actually display 1080p or i. They merely can read the signal and then display in 720. Therefore, you'll end up with the same video if you stick with component (or VGA). As for the larger hard drives, ask yourself (if you already own a 360), "How much room have I actually used up on the 20 gig?" The answer for me: about 4 gigs... WITH demo's and updates and whatnot. Hard drive is only worth it if you download alot of videos and other premium content from the marketplace, if you only need the space for a crap load of songs, pick up one of these babies instead:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3166156&CatId=136

(Not necessarily this one, but an external usb hard drive non the less) Your xbox will read music off of this and you get more space for less.

As for the colour, you could spend a couple minutes painting your xbox yourself (without voiding the warenty, just take your time and cover up the holes). I actually prefer the white with a custom face plate.

HOWEVER. The price difference is marginal and if your not upgrading, but merely purchasing an xbox 360 for the first time, I believe the elite is a good system. But a waist if you're upgrading for most people: (if you have a good enough tv, purchase alot of premium content from the marketplace, and love the colour black: go for it.)

For me, it was a game of Battle for Middle Earth II, me and my team-mate were playing on mirkwood and we played a 2 hour game against these other two guys. But what made that game so awesome, was that we had a constant battle in the middle of the map for over a half hour. Most intense game I ever played, whoever gained control of that land was going to win, and we eventually got it (half an hour of battles later).

It's enough for me, i always have around 10 left still, media is done through my computer, and demos get deleted quickly, so all that's left is arcade games, and game saves, which would leave me with almost the full thing, i ussually have 10 because of lingering demos i have yet to delete.

although, with the size of the aditional content you can get on some of the games, like graws 700mb, i'm wondering how long this 10 gb of lee way space i have will last...

will i buy the 120? yes, but ONLY if i get a huge discount for trading in my old one (some kind of trade up program), and they let me clone my old one onto my new one.

[QUOTE="WillT12345"]Anybody know if there is a thread on xbox.com for customer feedback so MS can see these requests? the1stmoonfly
There is a support e-mail you can use, but its not like a forum thread or anything, its more for reporting problems, they would just ignore feedback suggestions.

Not if everyone asked "How do I get more than one person in a chat invite?"  They have to answer your question, even if it's "You can't".  I one time asked something to do with the resolutions and the guy said "That's not supported right now, but we sometimes pass along the requests we get to the tech guys." or something along those lines.

But I think the more than one in voice chat would be the coolest. I have two friends in particular that I play with online whenever I'm on, so what the hell.

Halo 2 is much better than bf2, and just wait for halo 3, I would like a comparison between games that are on the same system, we don't go around saying halo is so much better than goldeneye! do we?
