@true_hurdler The game had its plus sides yes but theres so much missing out of the third one. There were characters that appeared very simular, the lack of better add-ons, the lack of memorable moments in the game, the final boss in the arcade seemed like a rush job than a new idea compared to the last two and the music can be very stale. I would go into more detail but in short if I had to recommend any title in the Marvel vs. Capcom series it would have to be Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. At least you had a sense that Capcom was making something spectacular. No I'm dissing on Marvel vs. Capcom 3. I'm more on the lines saying it could of done a whole lot better. Sales says one thing. The enjoyment is another. But then again its just one old gamer's opinion and of course I respect yours :).
Well if you look at Capcom's history in the last few years, they haven't exactly shown alot of promise in their projects. The Canceled Megaman games that would of been epic. The utter disappointment in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. The rubbish we had to deal with Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City ((Even Resident Evil Dead Aim seemed more entertaining)). And of course the stink of having to pay for features on Street Fighter X Tekken that is already on the disc. Capcom of today isn't the Capcom that I used to love. The 25th anniversary could of done better but then again we are talking about a company that wants to be/outdo Activision.
