What you guys don't understand is these are multi-platform games. The PS3 is a superior console in terms of processing power/graphics processing power. The developers are not going to spend extra resources on making the PS3 one look better. They are going to get them as close as possible in terms of visuals and then polish up the games to make sure they run well (which is usually harder to do on ps3 as it is more difficult to develop for). I think all the games look better on PS3 except for Assassins creed 2. Then again it's more of the contrast that is making the differences here. Some of the screen shots on every game in this comparison look better on PS3 however, some of the shots on every game listed here (except dragon age) look better on the 360. I can find stuff wrong in every screenshot here on both versions of the games. What you need to do is look at exclusive games on PS3 vs 360... There is not one game that compares to Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, MGS4, Uncharted 1, Ratchet and Clank on 360...

I would rather spend my time playing quality games like R2 over Gears2, Uncharted over L4D, etc. Gamespot is so on the @#$% of microsoft.

Mansion looked alot better in gears of war 1 than in 2 as did Gridlock. Subway looks good on both but im gonna go with gears 2. Tyro station looks better in gears 2 in the first 2 screen (although the orange is kind of weird) last screen of Tyro station goes to gears 2. The thing is gears of war one pulled off alot of tricks by using dark environments etc. With gears of war 2 and how bright and light up the levels are the details in the back ground quickly fade showing 360s limitations.

In Fallout 3 the game looks pretty close, the first 2 screens I would go with the 360 the second two I would probably go with the PS3. I do think fall out looks slighty better on 360 overall, but I know if developers had the time and money they could do alot more with ps3 graphically, quality, gameplay, and gamelength. I still don't think they are using super-white that makes stuff look so much better for ps3. Soul Caliber IV is way better looking in every screen on the ps3 by far. For Deadspace I never once saw this issue with shadowing on the ps3. Call of Duty 5 looks much better on PS3 too and as far as that antenna or w/e it is disappears on ps3, it could be the angle your at on ps3 or the lighting as I own both consoles and would find graphics glitches or pop in then go to same spot on both systems and would notice at different areas/angles the 360/ps3 one would both glitch the object but at differnt points so that should not factor anything unless its a huge glitch like in one of the need for speed (carbon i think) when the reflection in the rear view mirror on ps3 was horrible, not ps3's fault or 360s just something the devs missed and for need for speed poor development. This is the only one I really think PS3 lost greatly in was Star Wars, PS3 one was just poorly developed for here. PS3 pwns the 360 on in CoD5 and Soul Caliber4. Mortal Kombat I would say is close, and if they turned super-white on the ps3 it would probably look better. Fall out 3 was probably slightly better on 360 as well. I thinkt he winner of this one was the PS3 by a fair lead specially with how much better SC4 and COD5 looked even though SW TFU looked better on 360. NVIDIA has pretty much always out done ATI in terms of videogames graphics, I don't know how you think that 360's ATI is better than PS3's Nvidia as PS3's Nvidia card is comparable to the PC NVIDIA 8800. You also can't base the graphics off the shadows alones, ps3 appears in almost all these games listed to have higher texture resolution, darker now, and better shaded except this weird deadspace picture Gamespot managed to find. I can find many more pop-ups in 360 deadspace than on the ps3 one, as well in bioshock. I think comparing multiplat games is kind of dumb no mater what system it looks better on as most developers do things differently or have different groups working on different ones. Look at gears of war 2, i played that co-op split screen the graphics were reduced a little bit but noticed lots of framerate problems even when not even fighting one enemy. Resistance 2 playing co-op online with 6 other people and tons of enemies on screen with very good graphics had no framerate problems. Gears of War 2 looks almost the same as Gears of War 1, with some minor improvements to the graphcs + lighter levels so they weren't pulling off as many graphical tricks as they did with Gears1. Killone 2 for example is competing with and even beat Crysis 2 in terms of graphics E3 2008, 360 will never see a game play or look as good as KZ2. Fable 2 looks pretty bad to be honest. MGS4>Gears 2, Resistance 2/Resistance1 10x>Halo3 now Socom gets pwned by alot of 360 games as it looks like crap and plays like crap but that's clearly the development team.

they forget to also mention the 360 has been mastered as devs still have thumbs up their ass and have to get help from sony inorder to finish a game on time or correctly. this proves that devs are only using or know how to use the ps3 to 30-40% of its true power

Im going with need for speed and rainbow six def better on the 360 as they were just ports and sloppy deved on ps3. Lets look at resistance vs halo 3 (ps3 launch) and watch all the pop up for halo 3 and see how much better the ai and graphics are in resistance compared to this overhyped game. Lets take uncharted and compare it to any 360 game and show what looks better

As far as gta 4 goes, First turn RGB-FULL On ps3 assuming your tv supports it. Second you guys forgot to mention ps3 versions hold a better framerate on the ps3, it also has less rendering pop in, and more pedestrians and traffic on the streets. As for how they are taking screen shots on ps3, specially with gta 4 ive never seen it that blurry. Also they need to factor in what time they are taking these screen and if it is the same time in game on both systems. As the weather does change in gta, sometimes its foggy, rainy, hazy, w/e. This just as bad as watchign the news on tv. I go with IGN review of gta 4 as i own a 360 and a ps3, always see mroe people on road/side of road on the ps3 and they actually explained why the ps3 one was technically different. None of these site even use ps3 on full rgb anyways. Call of duty 4 has better lighting on ps3, and for the most better framerate. Orange box doesnt count, as valve let someone else do it as they dont know how and are to lazy to develope for the ps3. I'm not trying to bash the 360 either, cause I own the system. It does have its exclusives and it sure does have its problems. As far as half life goes, it shouldn't have been thrown into this comparison. First off its an old pc game, and both consoles should be able to run it perfectly with better and sharper graphics. The PS3 one does not, but is it the consoles fault? No its the half ass developed port for the ps3. It is in no ways pushing the ps3 or the 360. Just poor development. Burnout looks better on ps3, look at the second screen shot, you can see farther, more objects on the screen in the far distance, more filled in trees. As far as being blurry and washed out, if i recall ps3 has a thing called RGB, it's set on LIMITED by default and if your tv supports it, it brings out full colors. It was stated before that you guys and other sites do not change this. However your just making it biased on your own part.

The new psp looks awesome. I like how they releasing more colors and have moved the speakers to the sides of the screen and how they added the hook up to tv's etc. Also the improved load time. The two complaints i have is the new battery doesnt last as long(even if you can use your old one you will be using a differnt back wich will be weird. Also the disc tray for loading in your umd's. i will get this one to replace my old one some day. Question though were is the new IR reciever?
