As someone who doesn't play Gears's multiplayer I have no issues with the microtransactions at all because they don't effect me in the slightest only playing thru the campaign.

Well this could be our dated information but when I worked at GameStop that was how things worked GameStop only made about $5 of a brand new game that's why they pushed used game sales so much because there they take home a full 100% of the profit minus what they paid for it but then that's why they also offer such a crappy amount in trade. This was awhile ago so maybe things have changed altho the price of games hasn't so I'm willing to bet this hasn't not either.

I know ppl who are buying a PS4 this year despite knowing that the PS5 is coming next year. Some ppl don't care and want what they want now so Sony should just show it to us already come on.

Retail only gets like $5 of a brand new game the rest goes to the developer/publisher.
