I know that it is possible to have it freeze if you have something plugged into the USB port that was not made for the Wii. Like a USB charger. If you have something plugged into the port try taking it out.

I believe you run a HDMI cable from the PS3 to the sound receiver and then run another HDMI cable from the reciever to the tv. Somebody please correct me if I am wrong.

It may support 1080p input but most likely downscales it to 720p as been previously said. I would still try both to see what you like more.

Mine used to freeze but then I found out if you have something plugged into the USB ports it can cause freezing. I did have something plugged into the port for charging so I unplugged it and problem went away.

Try this website http://robertwrose.com/2007/05/installing-latest-fedora-core-7-on-ps3.html

They even give the links to download both the bootloader (otheros.bld) and to download FC 7

An external enclosure probably is the best bet or something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812107114

A wireless router can be anything from $30.00 and up depending on how "nice" you want it to be and the official xbox 360 adapter is around $99.00.  You just have to look around.  Usually you can find wireless routers cheaper on the internet than a brick and mortar store.

A wireless router and a wireless gaming adapter.  Whether it is the xbox 360 official adapter or not it is up to you.  I heard that the official adapter is quite nice although I have never used it myself.
