What are you thinking? PS3 has over 40 million units+ out so far worldwide, and MS has a little less than 144 million units. this is to the first quote by the way.

Mass Effect will be the last biggest MS exclusive release for a good good while. So what does MS have in store for 2008?! And no i dont mean multiplats such as GTA IV, Dark Sector, Army of two or Devil May Cry. I mean as far as exclusives go, ok Too Human yea might be ok, but come on.. MS has its work cut out for them in 2008, they have to announce something to overshadow MGS4, Killzone 2, GT5 and Little Big Planet.

Now I know what most of you are going to say.. You are going to throw names at me like Lost Odyssey, Banjo, Alan Wake, Halo Wars,Ninja Gaiden 2 and Fable 2. Grant it those might be great games but you have to understand that half of those are unproven franchises while the other half are titles that wont appeal to the average casual..

So what will MS do to counter MGS4, Killzone 2, Little big planet and GT5?. Everyone knows that when MGS4 hits, IT WILL BE HUGE and OMG dont even get me started on Killzone 2, if that game turns out to be good it will OWN 2008. Another thing to keep in mind is the 36's popularity was built on online multiplayer games NONE of the exclusives announced so far for next year are multiplayer heavy.. bottom line is, if MS doesnt announce Gears of war 2 for 2008 or something extraordinary, then they have A LOT OF WORK TO DO!

I was studying the October NPD software numbers, and was wondering what people who bought the PS3 are doing with it? There are NO PS3 titles in the top 10. And this isn't the first time the top 10 has been PS3-free either. And what's even worse, if you look at Media Create's (Japan) weekly sales, MOST of the time there isn't a single PS3 title in the top 10. Sometimes there isn't even one in the top 15.

My only conclusion is that people bought the system just to watch Spiderman 3 in high-def. Which is unfortunate in and of itself, as it's a terrible, terrible movie.

Titles are coming, and soon there will not be anything to stop Sony rolling over the competition like nothing has happened to them.

Personally I think that both systems have had some major errors in the running, however I do believe that by Q2 2008 Sony will be in the lead in the way of titles. Take it from facts, the PS3 is far harder to produce for than the Xbox, but there is no way that the 3rd party companies are going to simply drop 46,000,00+ users because they have to learn how to program a little differantly. In the beginning it was really hard to get good games, but now we are beginning to understand how to use almost all 8 of the cell chips thus making speed, graphics, and power far easier to achieve. So we can come to one conclusion, people obviously arn't buying the horrid games developed for the xbox and then being moved over to the PS3. They have only two options, they can either start building the games ground up for the PS3 and then drop the extra features so it fits on the Xbox 360 or they simply decide to drop 44 million plus gamers.

Thats not going to happen, it may be harder but when they build it for the PS3 first the games will come out better on PS3 than they will on 360, we have already seen it so we know that PS3 can come out ontop. As a side not, I am sick of people calling PS3 games lame, Halo is only so good and its got lower end graphics than 89% of the PS3 games so far.

Halo is 620p and basically all PS3 games so far are 720p or better, and in the way of gameplay we could use some more good titles but it really isn't that bad. In the last month and the next four months we are going to have rolled out close to a dozen major titles for the PS3.

That is a good sized list and all I can think of off the top of my head for Xbox is Halo, and Killzone 2. So tell my Xbox fans, what are the huge game titles here. Is Halo the only one that can sell your Xbox? I doubt that anyone can come up with a real reason why the Xbox is better, I really truely doubt it, the PS3 is going to last and MS has no plans for a replacement Xbox system, only an upgraded disk player and a larger hard drive. Go figure.

Thats not the systems fault, they have found that it is harder to work with the tech then they thought it would, but they will get there.
