Your posts represent all the fanboyism in the world. Is it all you do is post this garbage on SW. the PS3's first year sales beat the 360's first year sales, and more on the way is coming. The war isn't over yet M$ or Nintendo are winning the initial battle. Neither Sony nor M$ or the wii has won this gen yet. it's still going on. just give it sometime and stop posting this grabage on here. Sony hasn't released the big guns yet. In early-mid 2009 or even at the end of 2009 we will know who is winning this generation. M$ could win it, the wii is winning right now, but don't count the PS3 out yet specially with no Big guns as of yet (MGS4, GT5, FF13..etc) If history should repeat itself, then when these games release, sales should spike through the roof when MGS4 or GT5 release. Can you just imagine the PS3 at 299 with GT5 or MGS4 or FF13 out in 2008!!! don't count it out yet or you're seriously going to have to leave SW or give yourself a new account or something because we know who you are and we will pick on you and say "That's the idiot that said such and such" No body is out of the race yet, it's only starting and it's anybody's win at this time.

First of all there was HEAVY constraints on the 360 in it's first 6-8 months You could not find one anywhere. They had a major shortage on systems. They also were still selling for high$$$ on ebay for months after release. Can not say that for PS3 you could not even get your money back on Ebay after like 24hrs of launch.

None of this you can say about PS3 they had piles of systems sitting on store floors and customers just lauched at them. So for having so many availible system the numbers are PATHETIC.

If 360 did not have such bad limitations of systems in it's first 6-8 months it would of BLEW PS3 sales out of the water. Either way put some numbers together becuase even so the sales numbers are not that accurate as to what Sony post. I mean after all they lie about everything.

Heck just this week they were caught lieing again trying to include PS2 sales numbers in with PS3 sales numbers.

for six months after it came out PS3 was going for a total of nearly $1000 dollars in the usa non stop, its higher end.

Why isnt the 360 miles ahead then?

And seeing as its been out a year longer, by far its biggest system seller is out there, and PS3 hasnt touched none of its catalogue yet... YOUR WRONG

If you follow PC gaming. PC gamers usually upgrade their hardware when the game releases. PC gamers do not buy a new PC one year before the game is available. Look at Crysis. I doubt anyone would buy a new PC 1 year before Crysis releases. PC gamer wait and buy a new PC a few weeks within the time of the game release.... So with consoles, we all know almost all the time, the launch games on a console is sub-par. And the console games usually take 1-2 yrs after the console release. So if 360 is going to be 5 yr console, you are really getting a 4 yr console.

This applies to ps3 and wii too.

Resistance fall of man came out within a week of launch and it is the best selling game on the system so far. Plus we got all the games that came with the PS2 so Go figure.

I was just wondering how many people out there that already own a Xbox 360 or Wii and you are waiting for PS3 to get the big daddy titles in 2008 so you can buy one? I'm waiting on MGS4, MGO, Well I guess I could at-least try Gran Turismo 5 even though I prefere Forza. I'll tell you what makes me wanna get a PS3 the most though. I know Microsoft can't wait to release a new console and cancel the 360, then we'll be left hanging. I know it probaly wont happen until at-least another 3 years. One thing though that I like about Sony and that's that they know how to keep a system on the shelf for at-least 7 to 10 years!!! Keeps me from spending all my money8)Patriot298

If MS does this then they are going to end up screwed, nobody is going to buy a new Xbox after they get a 360 and by the time they get one out Sony will be nearly ready to release a new PS4 or at least an upgraded version of PS3, like the regular to slim did, but I don't think they will be making a PS3 slim. But they might put in a faster Blu-Ray drive.
