Hello Gamespot. When I was young my childhood friend had a 3D fighting game for the Nintendo 64 that has gone lost and I'm currently searching for a copy to myself but problem is that I cannot recall the game's name. So I'm here to explain what I remember from it and maybe someone knows what game I'm talking about. The character design of all the characters was very Power Rangers stylish with the black plexi glasses. I remember one of the character being a big "juggernaut" with green marine based armor and he was named Gun and there was yellow, red, turquiose "icy type" characters. I cannot remember that much of the game other than a stage or two. Anyone ever heard of this game? It's very underrated.
Okay.. Let's say that from nowhere a dimensional rift came into your bedroom and sucked you into the virtual world. The world itself tells you to choose which Marvel villain you would like to be as you kick other video games franchises butts! Which Marvel villain would you choose to be as you had to fought your way through Halo > Super Mario > Zelda etc. (A random topic isn't it?) Okay let's stop the "roll-play" here. Since this is a gaming forum and Marvel originally is comic book characters I just felt like making some weird story up. But since Marvel has their games and the versus series etc I will just go ahead and ask you once again.. Which Marvel villain would you want to be? Personally, I pick Dr. Doom!

I actually thought that Street Fighter would dominate in here. But I find it very intresting that everyone like's all kind of fighting games :) Thumbs up for not being narrow-minded! (or a insanely stupid fanboy ;D)
not sure about a favourite franchise, but Virtua Fighter and Dead Or Alive are my personal favourite 3D fighting franchise , and Street Fighter is my favourite 2D fighting franchise

Hm, I'm not that into 3D fighting tbh but I guess Soul Calibur would be my pick. In 2D Street Fighter is my fav. Yet.. I love: Super Smash Bros., Guilty Gear, Mortal Kombat.
Something really bothers me.. Among my friends it seems that I'm the only one that adore fighting games. They are these typical obsessed FPS-fans that is so narrow-minded when it comes to try other genres. But in my case.. I find myself buying fighting games all the time and I just can't get enough of it! My question to the "fighting genre" gamers is.. Which fighting franchise is your favorite and why?

Any reasons why you think the N64 is better?
Maybe he/she likes to play his/her games and not wait for them to load. Maybe he/she likes reliable and durable hardware. Maybe he likes multiplayer games. Maybe he/she likes platformers.
Seriously why do people who pick N64 get asked this but not people who prefer playstation when both have pros and cons.
Woah haven't checked this thread since I posted my reply.. I have missed alot :3 ! I hope I didn't like, offend anyone by saying that and don't get my wrong I still loved my PSX but what I loved ever more was my N64. N64 offered better games of my taste. When I first got my PSX I was like "Woah!" and started playing it but that was nothing compared to when I got my N64. I was so happy.. Almost got a little tear in my eye and my first game was Yoshi's Story :) I tried to play my PSX as much as I could but my N64 had this power to draw me back to it. I mean the games were so GOOD!! Goldeneye 007, Super Mario 64, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Mario Kart & Diddy Kong Racing, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Mystical Ninja 2: Starring Goemon, Pokemon Stadium, Bomberman 64, F-ZERO X and the list just goes ON and ON and ON! I played alot of games on my PSX aswell but they never gave me this fantastic feeling I got from playing the N64. Sure Final Fantasy 7, Crash was epic as hell. In conclusion I just don't care about the hardware nor the price sells etc.. All I care about is the game and as said before. To me N64 has the better games in my taste. A good reason enough?
I was got reminded by a thing. One of the high "chiefs" in Nintendo said that they feel that they did nothing wrong with the Wii and that the new Nintendo Console will be insanely mind-blowing. I love the Wii, I gotta say. HD or not, Graphics does not matter. SNES is the best console ever (imo) and that system SURELY does not support HD x'D But I do believe they will go for better online and HD graphs atleast. But we just gotta wait and see what will happen :)
Well I could pay the extra. I'm a Nintendo fanboy and will forever be, the graphics does not make a game/console good! Why does this seem to be such an important thing for many people? I admit the Wii's online is garbage (for the most part) but I gotta say that they are heading in the right direction atleast since Mario Kart Wii's online is awesome and Tatsunoko vs Capcom's online ain't that bad. The Wii may not be as powerfull as the 360, PS3 in terms of hardware, etc. But it's not even close to a bad console.. There are so much good games for it! :) And yeah even tho that the Wii does not have HD graphs I still think that Galaxy, Sonic Colors, Other M etc has amazing graphics! It does not have to be this dark and boring Gears of War graphs.. Just my opinions thought.
