You obviously haven't played both games. Maybe you prefer cartoon-like gfx, and don't like the darker, more realistic style of TSW, but on a pure technical level, there is no way WoW is the better looking game.

@Auronvolgar @Getesh The game is actually really well made, but as always, brand new MMOs get compared to ones that have had years to get a certain level of polish. I do think the sub-based model is a bit outdated and things could have been different if they chose to go FTP, especially given the built in store to cash in on player's vanity. I'm disappointed to hear it hasn't done as well as it could have, but maybe this will prompt Funcom to look at that pricing model.

Important for the world. How does he back his claim up? All he says is that there a lot of second screen devices in living rooms today. How is Nintendo making one in any way important for the world.

This just sounds like a thinly veiled attempt to justify launching early as something other than a business decision to have the edge over their "non-competitors".

I ended up getting this, mainly to see how Lovecraftian it is ( quite a few references so far), and I have to say it's probably better than I expected. The questing is much more enjoyable than your standard MMO fare. Investigation quests actually require a bit of lateral thought and are a huge breath of fresh air. It's a very intelligent game and am loving it it. Yeah, there are a few bugs, but nothing game destroying. Took me a week to find my first one.

Good to hear. Been out of touch with it for a bit, but always loved watching MC. I guess some of the posters here still refuse to see e-sports as something worthy to report the news on. Keep it up Gamespot.

There was a time when this would have excited me. There was also a time when WoW was enjoyable and not completely sold out to the lowest common denominator. Why would they stop while people keep playing I guess.

@Stygian_Warlock You sound like me, and that's exactly the reason I'm interested in this. Here's to hoping.

@jerusaelem It's pretty apparent you neither played MGS or Heavy Rain by these comments, but ignorance is bliss as they say.

@mastergundam Whether they make something industry changing or not, they are definitely trying to break the mould of what games should be. Heavy Rain was a very good attempt at it. Shall see where they go from there.
