@Arda_Daghan212 Thanks, that means a lot. I wasn't expecting a positive response at all because controversial subjects are very difficult to keep "sensible" on the net, I do try though, thanks again :).

Being a straight male I do oddly see female homosexual relationships more acceptable then male ones, it's not because I'm homophobic or sexist, I think it's more because I can understand why you'd want to be in a relationship with a female (being attracted to them myself), I can't however see the attraction of a male partner what-so-ever. Personally though this has never been my issue with Mass Effect, I dislike the franchise because I've never been able to see it as the critically acclaimed masterpiece a lot of other people see it as, for me it felt like a poor RPG and a mediocre TPS jumbled into a mess together that's not really sure of it's identity; I'm sorry but that's how I feel. I've tried to like it but I just can't, guess it's not for me. I think most people dislike the day 1 DLC, the amount of hype and coverage it gets and the fact you have to use Origin on PC.

@psu808 Uncharted and Resistance are new, weren't around last generation. MAG, Modnation Racers, Journey, Heavy Rain, Infamous, Motorstorm, Demon's Souls, Little Big Planet, The Last Of Us..etc... your list is somewhat lacking. I'm not talking about revenue, Sony are losing most of its profits outside of the gaming industry likewise how Microsoft are making most profit elsewhere too. I was referring to the quality of new exclusive IPs, by that I'm referring to this generation.

@darkangel494 It's not "PS3 fanboys" but gamers who enjoy multiple games across multiple platforms. Why limit yourself to the one platform? I'm not going to lie, I'm primarily a PS3, 3DS and Vita gamer however I'm not biased. Define "ahead", if you're referring to sales you're wrong. In terms of sales there's roughly a 3 million unit gap between the pair worldwide however based on year by year sales (by that I mean the 360 being on the market one year longer), the PS3 is ahead in terms of sales. Either way how you look at it, it's not "truly ahead" by any stretch of the imagination. You'd have to have been living under a rock to not see Microsoft are losing their way, the majority of the new games exclusive to Microsoft are the same IPs we get year in, year out. Not to mention the last Microsoft menu update is terrible and clearly orientated around the Kinect and Windows Phone users. This generation Sony have damn near built up an entire portfolio of exclusive franchises that were non-existent last generation. Nintendo have kept their first party support up as usual and the PC has had a resurgence over the past few years. Microsoft aren't doing to well on the software front lately. @UnaSolida You realise via a cheap adapter you can use a 360 controller on both PC and PS3?

Vita is a console.... I think the Vita encourages it since so far all the retail releases are available for download as well as multiple PSP titles at a reasonable price. Personally I don't think the memory sticks are too expensive, the 16 GB and under prices seem fair enough. Considering I nearly forked out £100 for a 4 gig PSP one around the time it released, this is cheap. Think of it this way, Sony are more then likely losing money on each Vita, they're making margins on the memory sticks. What would you prefer? Overpriced console (likely worth over £300 in parts alone) or overpriced memory sticks? Exactly...

@outputrotation You can receive texts on it but you can't send them. Why not just use something like Facebook to message people, if your friends are anything like mine, they can't get off the damn thing, chances are they'd get the message.

@Romayo83 It's never been about a device being cool or not, it's always been about its functionality, an area every smartphone fails to deliver upon with their more then lacking touchscreen controls. Even console ports such as GTA 3 don't compare to the PSP versions. Gameplay as a result suffers immensely to the point more complex games just rely on auto-aim. Not even worth , mentioning how overpriced smart phones are considering how old the tech is in most of them. I take it 2 devices are too much for you because it's quite a big number if you struggle to count... sarcasm aside, for the price of an iPhone 4S you can easily afford either a 3DS or Vita along with a decent smartphone capable of everything the iPhone does besides certain games. If you're a gamer that's the preferable option, "mobile gaming" for the most part shouldn't even be allowed to be called gaming.

The Vita clearly has a much higher resolution screen and more processing power then the 3DS, however Resident Evil: Revelations is no visual slouch (as demonstrated by your screenshot). Monster Hunter 3G, and Metal Gear Solid 3D are no slouches either. With the 3D on it's effectively putting out 3 screens of video, that'd be strenuous for any device so I can see where you're coming from. As other people have pointed out, the second screen isn't really the issue, resolution is; if a higher resolution means losing the bottom screen I'm all for it.

Apple and all of their products are to put it blatantly, overpriced and rubbish. As a gaming platform it's terrible, most of the people who "game" on these smart phones aren't gamers. The 3DS shows there's a market for handheld games, Sony just needs a "killer app", my guess would be a good RPG would do it.

Honestly? I don't want a mandatory touch screen controller, its uses are limited; the 3DS and DS do it well but it seems they're trying to appeal to the mobile phone "gamers", these people aren't gamers..... I hope Sony know this because Nintendo and Microsoft don't seem to...
