Should I play metroid prime 1 and 2 before corruption or just go straight to corruption?

I know the first two are remade for the wii, but since they're older, won't they feel too dated to be fun? Even if they are fun, is it worth the effort of getting a copy of trilogy or just buy corruption?

What's your opinion on the WiiMote (+Nunchuk and WiiMotionPlus if you will). Does it enhance the playing experience? Does it get annoying?

Compared to a PS3/Xbox360 controller, which would you rather use.

Just curious.

Found some component cables for the Wii online for $10 that delivers to my country. Can't find the Wii ones that delivers.

Would there be a quality difference between 1st and 3rd party cables?

And would a certain kind of component cables work or do ONLY Wii component cables work?

(I don't own a Wii yet, just trying to sort out all the details before buying one)

Bam. All you need to know right there. Enjoy.

My main problem is I haven't played a single zelda game. Haven't played mario in over a decade. And I hated RE5 :P So here we are again at square 1. Do these games appeal to newcomers or only fans? What about Metroid? Same scenario?

There's a famous saying: Arguing on the internet is like running in the Special Olympics.

That's all I'm going to say about the subject because I honestly couldn't care less if you find it difficult to understand the purpose of my posts. My message may not be clear in the original post but I cleared it up saying I was just looking for insight in my later posts. If anyone else has insight into my decision, I welcome and appreciate it. If you're going to nitpick on my choice of words, you obviously have to get a life.

Also, you ended your topic post with "so...convince me".GAMESHARQ

Sorry I didn't realize this was a thread for nitpicking.

If you need someone to convince you to get a wii, then you shouldn't get one.

GAMESHARQ

Yes, I agree with that. If you have any doubt in your mind about buying anything, Wii included, you shouldn't buy it until you are 100% sure you want it.

I'm not looking for someone to convince me, I said in my original post I'm almost sure I'm going to get one, this is just me getting some final insight into my decision. Anyway, I've gotten AC2 for my PS3, once I'm done with that I'm going to get a Wii (Taken I'm not sick of gaming by then, which I doubt). My only real concern right now is the Wii suddenly announcing a new SKU. When I got my 40gb PS3, the new SKUs came out. When I got my 360 pro, they dropped the price for the elite. And I know it's not likely but with my luck, the day after I get a Wii, nintendo will announce a Wii HD or something.

Online gaming isn't important to me at all, used XBL when it came free for a month with my 360, didn't really enjoy playing with 13 year olds. I've got my PS3 for online gaming, works fine the one time a year I play online. The only multiplayer I enjoy is with the people in the room with me, I might as well play with bots over whiny little kids on the other side of the connection. The reasons I'm attracted to the Wii are the mario games, zelda, and RE4. And looking at this years line up, nothing really excites me other than mario galaxy 2.

Anyway thanks for all your advice.

I just wanna know people opinions of the Wii, their experiences, whether it's worth the purchase that's all. I'm not gonna base my decision on that just want some insight that's all. Why do you like your wii...that's what I want to know

Ok I own both a 360 and PS3 and have been on the edge of buying a Wii for a while now. I can afford it as well as a few games with it. I've been looking at game video reviews and looks good but graphics look awful (Maybe cuz I'm watching it on youtube in low def :P). I am literally on the edge of buying or not buying one, just looking for a final push to not buy or buy. Don't know what playing a Wii is like so don't know if it's worth it, and I can't try it out because all the games on display are wii sports and all my friends are PS3 fans.

So...convince me...

[QUOTE="MBXIII"]

should I just return the disc to the owner?

Vuurk

Are you implying that you stole the discs from someone? =P

No I borrowed it from a friend. Borrowed not "Borrowed".
