@thehound: Multiplayer can work because they could have had the other players be non-VR or have online. The sound effects are typical and bare bones. It certainly doesn't have the charm or character that the other entries have had. The game isn't $29.99 everywhere. I paid $45.20 for my copy and is this content going to be free?
I thought they would still offer the 3 click feature for the DS4 but with the way they have it is complete bs because I'll practice the shot and it will go where I want it for power and then when I address it the power doesn't even come close to matching my practice shots. Plus the swing ends up being way off. This is the first game that has made me want to rip the headset off and smash it. I'll give it a go when I have more room to play with the move controller. As of right now on what I paid I give it a 3 and if I knew it was going to be this piss poor I would have saved my $45.20 and put it towards MediEvil Remastered.
@Furwings: The game might be an 8 for you but that is your score. You cannot discredit their review because that is their opinion. This game is only a 3 for myself. Lack of content, poor DS4 controls, lack features and overpriced in my opinion. This is not worth the $45.20 I paid should have been $22.60. Unless they plan on giving us free updates with extra content like Gran Turismo Sport is doing monthly then Everybody's Golf VR is my biggest disappointment this gen.
I've been waiting for a VR flight game for my PS4 PRO and even though it doesn't offer full PSVR support what is there is worth the price of admission.
@juliano001: So a game that is very linear, story doesn't make sense, controls need some work, framerate drops on even the PC version with quite a bit of stuttering when things get hectic, game is short, camera angles can be a pain and has subpar graphics by today's standards doesn't deserve a 4? Okay this game gets a 5 are you happy now?
@tnielsen2010: That's usually because you're walking in with low expectations. I had high hopes for Red Dead Redemption 2 and actually didn't like it and took it back for a full refund.
@Barighm: Even this review said that the game ran poorly on the PC and they still gave it a 7 https://www.thesixthaxis.com/2018/11/26/darksiders-iii-review/. What people need to realize is that these are just numbers and are subject to their opinions. If you see the same complaints across the board then you should take that into consideration and keep in mind when a game fails at launch it will be a good chance it will plummet in price quickly. I picked up Mass Effect Andromeda for $15 CAD from $80 CAD 3 weeks after launch and the game has been patched since then and runs rather well.
@saint311: More then likely seeing a lot of the other reviews I've read make the same points. Even if you read this review that got a 7 it doesn't truly seem like it deserves that score https://www.thesixthaxis.com/2018/11/26/darksiders-iii-review/ if you scroll to the bottom you can see that the game stuttered and framerate drops and the fact that it shouldn't do that because the graphics are not intensive. To be perfectly honest any game with that shouldn't deserve a 7 and should be no more then a 6.
