Did they really have to have it come out at about the same time WWE '12 comes out? Huh? Did they? I can't afford to get both, especially when I barely even have time for one. :cry:The-Apostle

Although I'm not getting WWE 12 (until a price drop anyway) I know how you feel, its more or less within a week of the MW3 and Saints Row 3 release dates -.-'

The amount of time those three games will drain from me is unthinkable. Curse you Bethesda!

I don't hate CoD and I sure as hell don't hate the MW series but Activision can get screwed. Basically anything popular will bring a large amount of very vocal haters, many with justified reasons, many not. But dwelling over whether or not a franchise is loved is pointless.

Well if the USA is anything like Australia, they must let you buy at that price. Get in quickocstew

It's the UK, and it's instore so they'll honour the price - not had a chance to go myself but I work there so I'll have a ganders tomorrow. Crysis 2 for £10, yes please!

EDIT: Just had a look in another forum - apparently the misprice was fixed by the head office on Thursday, bummer.

I didn't understand what they were trying to show me for awhile. They said the Wii U and then for the next 20 minutes they referred to the Wii U as "The Wii U Controller" and showed how you use it with Wii peripherals. The way they marketed it made it seem like a new controller and not a new system.

Iwata actually mentioned that this was one of their main regrets (not showing the console itself) but I mean they spent like 10 minutes with a Zelda orchestra and don't even show their new freaking console, what the hell where they thinking? I know the emphasis is on the controller but literally one slide was all it would take to avoid the confusion it made.

I think a lot of Wii U's third party suport lasting is the power of the nextbox and ps4, if the leap in graphics/power is the same as Wii-360/PS3 it could spell bad news for Nintendo, I just don't think that the consoles' graphics will look a great deal better, they'll just be much better at processing and the like. I think they should be fine in terms of third party support.

I'll let them at least make the online component bearable this time before reserving judgement. Competitive multiplayer on consoles doesn't need changing for me (at least control wise), I'd be more than content to just have map/hud on the screen.

Agreed, health bars, items etc would work well with the screen. It'll be interesting to see the features developers come up with, maybe Bioware (if they support it) will add microphone support akin to what they're doing with Kinect for Mass Effect 3. There's certainly a lot of potential for greatness, I think RTS' are another genre set to benefit a helluva lot with this controller.

[QUOTE="da_chub"]first of all it supports mulitplayer with Wiimotes/nunchucks. 2nd...i dont want to buy a 2nd controller that cost like $150...which is probably a reaonable price for one of those.Wintry_Flutist
Why do people keep mentioning the price of the controller? What happened to bring your controller over your friends' house? Not even that would be possible, so it's not some kind of "relief" that only one controller is supported as of now.

Exactly right, people seem to think this is good news because they can use their wiimotes for multiplayer, far from it. I'm sure I'll have at least 3 friends who buy a Wii U, sure I wouldn't drop crica $100 for a new tablet controller but I'd rather pay $50-60 for the same controller layout without the screen for multiplayer.

I read that Miyamoto said they are looking into the possibility of a friend bringing their tablet over, don't look into it, make it happen.
