@PfizersaurusRex: I

Intel is still better performance wise, thanks to higher clocks, IPC is the about the same now and AMD wins in performance per watt. But despite that Intel still locks HT for cheaper CPU's and they give you inadequate coolers. It's like they don't care about being competitive. So yeah, screw them. XD

It depends. The 9900ks is still the king of gaming but the i5 lack of threads is a problem is some newer more threads friendly titles where it suffers from stuttering when there's lot of action. Also when it comes to workstation duty Intel doesn't have any advantage. It depends on the workload but there's many case where AMD wins. If you got the money as a workstation the Threadripper 3770x is a no-brainer. As the best value overall (as a wannabe consumer workstation + casual gaming) the Ryzen 3950x wins. Outside of the 9900k(s) in a purely gaming oriented use-case Intel doesn't have much to offer right now honestly.

He is not. If an ip exists before the company is bought or financed by MS then they bought the IP and they have nothing to do with its creation. It was not created under their "guidance" or financing. Like Halo. It existed before MS came in.

22GB for a fighting game :|

Is the reason the same ridiculous reason used for Tifanfail? We use uncompressed audio cause compressed audio makes people lag. Yeah right ... like just admit you're being lazy.

Would be interested by i'm not wasting 22GB of disk space for a fighting game. With all my HD movies, lossless songs and other games i'm kind of running low on disk space until i upgrade my PC next fall.

I do. My backlog on Steam is ridiculous. I started to do some cleaning this week. Created the abandoned category ;) I have like 20 games in it.

We just bought a new car, looking to buy a property, family, work, mid age. All sort of things preventing from playing games more than 2-3 hours a week. I'm also just not as good as i used to be so i don't have as much fun as i used to have. Now if i have the choice between playing games or relaxing on a terrace with a cocktail i'll chose the later.

Multiplatform FTW. Every games not made by MS, Sony or Nintendo should be multiplatform. No reasons to be exclusive these days unless the game is funded by a first party dev.

Personally, i would rather throw money down the drain than play a MMO.

Oakfront

Guild Wars is not a MMO. It's an online RPG.

The PVP was okay but nothing to write home about IMO. I did not play it lately but it required a good group to win. It was not like that WoW crappy "i have better gears than you" pvp. Your group needs to know what it is doing in GW good gears wont save your ass. It was a little too competitivefor me i did not have the time to masterize it. You'll need to find yourself a good team and you'll need to play what your team needs, You can't say i have 900 resilience i'll own. If you don't select the good classes and skills you'll get yourself killed pretty quickly. We had a fairly good group of people who know each others (we play BF and COD together) and we had some trouble winning over60% of your matches.

The original game pve elements was aweome though (the Expansion not so much). I enjoyed it a lot. Some of the later quests in the game wasnot easyand needed a good group of 6 to 8 players to complete. Dunno if there's still people playing it it's kinda old.
