I wish they did drop him and create a brand new character for this game. As great of a character as Kratos is there just isn't anymore mystery or backstory left to explore for him. We already know completely about his past and motivations.

It's almost like they just threw his kid in there to give him some more character development to keep him from being even more stale, kinda like how they suddenly gave him a brother in ghost of Sparta.

I like the new Norse setting but I feel it would've been so much more exciting to have a new protagonist along with it.

Lol first three could've just been combined into "instead of rushing carefully hunt for loot traps and hidden areas".

Yet another difficulty? Is that really needed?
