Gears of war 2 is much better cose its much more intense and also no kryll bulls**t to make the game stupid. I hated GoW 1 mainly becose the missions where always dark and lancer rifle was weak. Moreover the blood effects in GoW 2 is sweet and btw captainoflust, gow 1 had the stupid useless shotguns (which I never used till I played GoW 2) and the people in GoW were dumb as they are always scared. If you can't bear the gore why don't you turn off that option ?
