FFXI. Finally an MMORPG with an involved story and NPC character development. I gave it a lot of tries, but all the community problems, the standing around for hours waiting for groups, and the terrible, terrible grind just killed it for me everytime.
I still like Cinematech, well, when it's on. I bought a lot of games off of that show that I never would have even heard of otherwise. There really is nothing else left though.
the cost for developing games is only costing developers more and more money, honestly 70 bucks (Canadian) isn't cheap for me, but consider it a gift, they could easily charge more, espicially for the more popular gamesSOedipus
I think everybody is charging too much considering all these games are being downsized huge for playtime. Especially the 360 and all these 4-6 hour games they keep releasing. Personally won't be buying another damn thing until they clean up.
I thought it was pretty annoying too, especially during those long action-cutscenes and explosions. Never know they're coming until after it's already started and then i've gotta find something to sit my controller down on that isn't going to wake the neighbors from the rattling. What I do want back is the old R2/L2 buttons though, these half trigger things are pretty awkward to use since the controller is so small.
