It's a p42s2 series. Newer plasma so no burn in worries. Also I'm running a gtx 570 2.5gb so 1080p all the way. Just indecisive on which is better. 42 inch plasma or 27inch monitor. Already own the plasma
I sit 5-6 feet for the plasma but am willing to move closer if it's better. From what I'm reading so far the whole response time thing isn't really that big a deal. Just don't wanna regret moving from my plasma to a 20 some odd inch monitor. And id be going to purchase the monitor so don't wanna get it if I don't need it. If it helps I play everything from WOW to skyrim or nba
I understand you can't go out and buy hardware to improve your game. Why is so much emphasis put in response time then. And if gaming on my plasma is just as good for competitive I ain't mad. Just looking for clarification
Built my first rig about a month ago and have been using my plasma to game on. Been a console gamer my whole life, having trouble giving up the size. Will a monitor improve my online fps skills? Is response time and other variables that important? Advice please
Now I'm kinda new around here and know people don't like loosingends but here's my 2 cents, which kinda agrees with him. Built my first gaming pc a month ago and it's sweet. Wife doesn't like keyboard so figured id use controller since I have a 360 one handy. Wait, no receiver. I live in Houston where I find everything but could only find one with a controller, 59.99. All good. Bring it home only to find only small portion of games support it NATIVELY, as loosingends states. So let's get xpadder app for 10$ and learn to install only to find never really functions as well as NATIVE control games. DRM just plain sucks. Origin, steam, blizzard. How many logins do I need. It really gets to be a pain in the ass. And the community is dismal. Yeah you can get it but it's hardcore a little to much. Ventrillos and personal servers. No just trash talking which can be fun sometimes. But cheers to whatever people wanna play. It's all good
