XMB for sure, I have no interest in trophies and its gonna cause mroe achievment farming and cheating etc. If no one has has anything to gain then, then they wont cheat. Not that i have some moral issue with achievment farming or cheating, its just a bit annoying online when you want to play a propper game.
I find it a bit odd that soo many people need motivation to play games over again, should just how fun the game is be motavation. If its not fun, then stop playing, or if you need to have goals, why not jsut set your own.

It's a huge leap to assume that if the pirate couldn't pirate the software, he would have gone out and bought it instead.GreatSageCorban
Exactly. I know its a lot more complicated than that, but at the end of the day copying and stealing are NOT the same, both in priciple and in law. I dont download pirated games anymore, because i can afford to buy the games, but at a time in my youth (and living in the middle east) I brought loads of pirated games (I had both no cash and very few shops had many original games) which there is no way i would have ever payed for. Im not justifying piracy, im just saying that most the time the people who dont pay for software would have never payed for it in the first place even if they couldnt pirate the stuff. Things like Steam draw most that would be willing to pay for it away from illegal downloads with the ease of use, servers and services etc. whilst those that still dont want to pay, are never goign to pay.
IF anything they need to focus on trying to make reasons for people to want to pay for your games, which I think Steam has started to get going, rather than trying to outwit the pirates (which will never be done) or giving up on PC (because that would be lame and people would just become much better at pirating console stuff)
