Wow, am I lost. I am a Total Access subscriber and seem to have substantially less than total access to anything. I can't even find a place to download HD vidz and I've been searching for quite some time now to find a place to get some HELP! Nothing... Anyone else having this problem or am I the only sucker with a Total Access membership anymore? What am I paying for???
Google it dude. It is possible to xfer points but you must have the liveID and cannot do so using the gamertag. Major Nelson had a bit about it too. Shouldn't be hard to find... Also note that it only works for US customers.
WTF!? On my dashboard an ad just popped up saying "OUT THIS WEEK! Too Human, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Lego Batman and Ghostbusters"
This is misleading & downright dirty if you ask me. The official release date is still Sept 16 ("Fall 2008" according to xbox.com) Lego Batman and Ghostbusters are similar stories. As in NOT this week. There is supposedly a demo coming out on XBL on Thursday but that hardly belongs in the same "This Week" ad as Too Human which comes out.. well, this week.
With everyone so stoked about this game already, wtf is up with dangling the carrot??? Anyone have any other info? I heard a gamestop employee (I know, experts - all of them) say that the release was moved up. Is this true or is this just shady marketing for the Thursday demo release?
The camera in this game is seriously cracked. It must have been the last thing they optimized, or didn't optimize, because it's inexcusable at times. In a round room, rather than keep the camera on track around the outside so you can actually SEE the room, it instead hovers around the center of the room so you can see yourself -- and the wall. Meanwhile untold numbers of baddies slaughter you while they're picking their noses and thinking about what they're gonna do on their next vacation. It's absurd. Every time the lookstick is used (huhuh, lookstick) to fix the view, the camera is automatically snapped back. It's like they couldn't get the ai (or who knows what) right to be challenging enough so they just decided to score two birds and DO NOT FIX the camera. "That'll make it harder, if the player can't see.." (Unanimous agreement ensued) I'm still hooked and playing, but replay value is going to be seriously damaged by the lousy camera work...
