@StickyJr1 @Killusion Either way, it's just a name and it makes Take-Two look like bullies. I'm 100% certain that Frank Darabont wasn't trying to upstage Take-Two.
Remember Monster Cable? They sue everybody with the word "Monster" in their titles. They've sued Disney, Discovery Channel, the Red Sox, a costume/makeup website, a mini-golf operator, and several others I'm sure I don't know about. Guess what? I stopped buying Monster cables!
L.A. Noir is the name of the book for f***'s sake! I'm SURE Take-Two was aware if this, and added the 'e' to avoid infringement (they claim is was a "typo"). If they weren't aware of it, then they should be happy that they weren't sued! I hate stuff like this, it strikes me as incredibly pathetic and insecure. Did they think it would affect sales? Well guess what? I WAS planning on getting this game since I haven't played it yet. I won't be doing that anymore. How's that for affecting sales?
