Sorry Jess, I love you and all but I'd rather play sports games... and I hate sports games. There's no real end goal and nothing tangible I can take away from it.
1. Rise of the Tomb Raider, 2. MGS V: Phantom Pain, 3. Shadow Realms. I haven't played any MGS since it's not really been on PC before and I have 0 interest in the "online-only" junk that Shadow Realms will be.
"Didn't have autosave"... it does, at the beginning of each new chapter/area. But more importantly, there's quicksaving! Something that's pretty much gone in FPS and only seen in some RPGs now.
Once I saw the 5 for this "Other Look", I knew the person would complain that it's too hard, too unhelpful, *wah wah*, QQ more. The game's not meant for casual people. "Waah, I suck at this game and it doesn't tell me how to play, this sucks, 5/10."
The devs know their audience and their audience expects this from their games. If they attempted to pander to your lack of skill, their real audience would've left and the game would've tanked. If you're not ready to deal with a game that barely holds your hand, go play something that plays itself for you.
