I have a white one, but for a while I just carried it in my red purse, so now, all the little rubber grip things on the back are pink. Other than that, it's great.

I do think that perhaps with one of the darker colors the screen would seem very much brighter.

Why would Nintendo make that type of handheld? No Advance game slot, no improvement to the screens, no mention of any major differences or upgrades. What would be the point of buying this & therefore Nintendo wounldn't make it because it won't sell well.

Wiz007

Because it'd be new, spiffier, and smaller. And then people wouldn't gripe about GBA games not being on store shelves when there is a current system that supports them. And at any rate, why do they refresh the look of cars in the middle of a body style? Because sales eventually start to slow down and there's tons of people who will buy the "latest and greatest". I'm not saying that this is certain, but it makes sense to me.

Edit: And you never know, it might have major hardware upgrades or a more sensative screen. All she told me was that the screens would be the same size.

They go in their very portable yoshi, metriod, or peach game cases. I love them because they fit in my purse so well! All of their original cases are on a bookshelf, though. It's just much easier for me to carry them with me that way. And I do get distracted easily, so I love having a choice between seven games.

It's blue on the top only and black on the inside and bottom, like the Crimson/Black model. =]

On a slightly less horrifying note, I had let my fiance borrow Phantom Hourglass and then it vanished. We could not find it anywhere, and then, two weeks later, I cought one of his roomates playing it. He had "borrowed" it without asking. Needless to say I was not only horrified...

I work as the electrionics specialist at my target and I was talking to the nintendo representative on her last visit; she says that nintendo will be coming out with a new DS in the near future(a year or two). She says the top will be about the same with as the base(without the GBA slot) and that the screen size will be the same. I'm not saying this is 100% accurate, but she's one step closer than any of us are to the knowlege. I wouldn't be surprised if nintendo did go this route as they made the GBA Micro.

I wouldn't buy a skinnier ds because my hands start to cramp with the DSL as it is.

I definately think the wii is the best console nintendo has seen because not only does it bridge the gap between gamers and the general public, but because it has virtual console and the different channels. I have consistantly been blown away by the creativity nintendo has shown with the wii.
