I have Crysis, its my favourite game at the moment, but from what i've seen Far Cry owns CryEngine hands down.

Far Cry 2 wins, you lose.

your kidding me right?

first of all...dont even bring up the map editor...both warhead and Clear Sky had their own.

Second, Clear Sky will be a much deeper game...I dont think that anyone who played the original will dispute that...the fact that its also an RPG, and is virtually all non-scripted, makes it far, far deeper and more complex....your not going to see a game as complex as STALKER come from a western developer...ever.

Alright, let me explain. For starters, some people reckon that the storyline hasn't got that great a backstory.

All I have to say is: http://reubenblog.typepad.com/

This blog by a fictional character is by the Far Cry 2 developers, and it really does make you think this "Reuben" guy is actually in Africa, experiencing these things, and telling his journey along the way. He even shows real pictures FROM Africa which have Far Cry 2 related things in it, like "The Jackal is coming" and things like that, as well as posters for the two factions you encounter in the game. You can't say Far Cry 2 isn't deep.

And the storyline is dynamic, meaning you actually define what happens, when it happens. Hell, you could walk up to one of your mission-givers and shoot him in the face. They let you do that.

What does Stalker have that Far Cry 2 doesnt? Please tell me, I would like to know.

And the map editor is so much more easier to use. It is pretty much point and click, with no fidgety settings or you having to look up tutorials to change a texture on the ground. It is all as easy as possible, as demonstrated by the developers. 90 seconds, and your map looks like it can ship with a retail product. Imagine what can be created in one day.

Far Cry 2 by far, then Crysis: Warhead, then Stalker.

Read my review for Far Cry 2: http://jonoc33.gametrailers.com/gamepad/index.php?action=viewreview&id=48190

It explains alot of the features of the game, and I even missed a ton of things like the healing system and so forth.

Reason I like Far Cry 2 is because of the robust map editor and its impressive multiplayer features. And, over 100 hours gameplay of just Singleplayer. Not including replayability, multiplayer and making maps with the editor.

Crysis Warhead is nothing new. New story, optimized (yet still has same requirements [wtf]) and bugs fixed. Wow? Excited? I'm not really... Crysis was fail anyway, wouldn't think Warhead would be much different. And yes, I have Crysis, I play on Very High settings, and it's my favourite game at the moment. Yet the Multiplayer is fail in terms of popularity and features.

Stalker, meh, so-so. Not as good as the others.

Just check out some of the gameplay videos of Far Cry 2 and you'll be dazzled at the depth of the storyline and gameplay elements, and just how many ways you can play the game, and how dynamic it is, like the wind effects how it affects how fast the trees sway in the wind, and FIRE! Fire propagation is mad stuff, it spreads according to wind speed and direction. And weather, looks fantastic. And time of day cycle, looks mind boggling. I could go on all day, seriously. Far Cry 2 is good stuff, everyone should get it.
