As a fan of the whole series... their pvp system was OK in demons, then not too bad in DS. Then it got ridiculous, I am so tired of the laggish fighting. If I hit someone I expect them to get hit immediately, not 2-6 seconds after I hit them. I know I will get this game but as it has been going every game, less and less pvp for me
OK, usually I just like to check out all the vids, read some comments, go on with my day. But as a huge star wars guy it just is started to bother me reading all the CONSTANT negative comments. We get it... they changed a great classic game. Does it have some downs? YES! But the old one had quite a chunk of its own kinks. I'm actually legitimately surprised that dice has done as well as they have with this. I was really skeptical when I found out they were making it. But it is a great game! It is made for fans, and ultimately a great experience! I already know most of the naysayers I buying the game anyway, even when they say they aren't. Then after awhile of enjoying it they will say "This was repetitive and stupid, what a waste of my money." Then go back to playing it the next day.
As for all the star wars die hards... CHILL! The reason why we don't have all the Star Wars we could ever want is because... wait for it.... WE RUIN IT! We beyond criticize all of it, then wonder why nothing else like that comes our way. I'm sure this comment will get some flak but meh.
In my opinion... no game is worth the price of games now. But that is the way it is, and it sucks. None the less as a fan and gamer this will be in my collection day 1, and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys star wars
@skootbootz @Jambiya Valid point. But they definitely took out all the unexpected traps and crazy difficult areas. The gameplay is still just as hard but looking at this it feels more like a hack and slash then an even somewhat challenging game that I would expect from these guys. I hope I'm wrong.
This is the developers way of making an easier version of Dark Souls and Demon Souls so the whiners get their way and quit complaining. I even found Dark Souls II to be too easy compared to the first and Demons. I hope they go back to the ruthless days and make them mercilessly difficult. I like the challenge
Well going on this trailer, the fighting looks solid. But I am very sceptical at this point. I haven't enjoyed a FF game since FFX. This better actually have a good story. There's hope yet for me to come back to the series but if they mess this one up I think it's a write off for me.
@UNCStriker88 @Jambiya I played the PC version for Diablo III. It was definitely better than the second but like I said it just wasn't for me. I have no solid reasoning as to why. As for Borderlands, I tried SOOO hard to enjoy that game. All my friends love it too, but couldn't do it. They just never captured my attention.
Diablo III, Borderlands.... both extremely repetitive games that I never personally cared for, though I understand where people were coming from in liking them. Just was never for me, same with all MMO style game ever made. This is the first time in my gaming life that I have an mostly online based game that I absolutely LOVE! I have over 60 hours in and my craving to play this game hasn't slowed. I can't wait for the DLC that are coming. I disagree with this review but I do have to give him the fact that the story was blah. But as mentioned, it's only 20% of the game!
