For all of far cry 2s failings it was still a fun game and I cannot wait for far cry 3

If they make bad company 3 it had better actually be a fun light hearted game like BC1 and not that abomination of a campaign that BC2

Man people are stupid

If you can't make money in a market it means you product isn't competitive. Maybe instead of complaining about how most FPS games don't make money you should try making a better product or move to a different genre were you can be more competitive.

Sure they could improve the story because honestly having to go through a billion checkpoints and only having 2 options for each mission was kind of dumb in Farcry 2. Let us not forget though that the best part about farcry 2 was that map editor; I'd probably pay full price just for that

Unless their plan involves directing a Micheal Bay film I am not sure how COD would help them. Stupid terrorist... use Operation flashpoint or Arma instead

Not to defend EA but the other option is do what Activision does and not provide servers for online multiplayer (ie all cod on consoles). Sure me and my friends could go back years from now and still play a game of cod 4, but EA's servers are definitely better at reducing lag(which benefits players during a games launch and peak popularity). I don't like it but at the same time I can't blame EA for doing it.
