One thing that hasn't been pointed is that Solid Snake is not what gives the name Metal Gear Solid, Solid was just because of the jump to 3d graphics, so, you can't just say its not going to be a Metal Gear Solid just because of that

The idea of buying a new console should be playing brand new games on it, sure its nice to play many games on a single one, saves you cables, space and stuff, but i'd rather save money with sony not bothering with BC, i won't sell my old consoles anyway

Just create a us account, find a psn pre paid card and go for it. It should be compatible with all your accounts

This is nostalgic... i remember back then when i bought my first pc i was given a disc with demos, road rash on it, then i found the full game at walmart for like 9.99 and bought it, loved the art style, all those creepy faces everywhere, the music was nice too, with Sound Garden's Rusty Cage song in the intro. Would be nice to have it back to kick some cops

Dead Space effectively immersed me in the game, no need for cutscenes at all, everything happened while on gameplay and it was so cool to be like playing the cutscenes. Great sound and visuals. Facts like non paused menus, or being in danger even while buying stuff, reading or watching a log, so nice, added more horror to it in a good way. As in Metroid games, the character doesnt even talk other than saying "urggg, arrggg", but nothing more was needed to sympatize with him. What i'm trying to say is, there are games with cutscenes, and there are games without them, just because a game doesnt have cutscenes doesnt mean its a game without dept in its story, a good in-game perspective, thats all that was needed

What i've played of RE5 wasn't scary at all, the co-op thing kills every possibility of horror in the game, looking at a virtual version of a friend being eaten might be even funny, but being eaten, cutted, annihilated in a darkened ship in outer space being alone, that's scary
