Well, I will start by saying I only play COD 5 now for the zombies mode, currently I play Fallout and Gears.

TC, I disagree with you on many things:

1. Making a balanced map is simple if the maps are symetrical, gears creates one half of a map, then copies the layout onto the next map, maybe tweaking it slightly, the COD series is aiming for realism/immersion, and asymetrical offer that, you feel like you're fighting in a warzone rather than a map. not all the COD 5 maps work, but that's partly an issue with the spawning system, which all too often seems to get you killed.

2. Martyrdom was lamented by many people who cred out for a power reduction, frankly, if you're capable at this game, you won't be dying as often, so martyrdom will be less useful, additionally, many players see it as 'cheap.' Nerfing it was a good descision IMO

3. I like dome, clearly you don't, I don't like outskirts, many people do...we move on...

I could go on about your gun qualms but my computer is dying, to summarise, i disagree with you that COD 5 is as bad as you imply, but i still prefer gears

You can't compare them. One is modern as in today weapons and warfare and the other is WWII. You have to judge World at War with other WWII games, and in that case World at War is the best WWII game out there. And Modern Warfare is the best "futuristic" game out there.SirCokerThe9th

well im so tierd on the rock band instruments and i really wan't guitar hero WT instruments. but i still love the rock band games
so how does it work with guitar hero WT instruments on rock band.

Im having a game identity crisis i need some new game which is different to the games i have but is popular.

Fable 2, Halo 3 ,Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Fallout 3, Saints Row, Grand Theft Auto 4, PGR4, Viva Pinata, Forza Motorsport 2 and Oblivion 4.

Please tell me any games that will help me through my time of crisis.

this is game reccomendation but w/e...out of the ones above I would pick Fallout 3, Halo 3, Forza Motorsport 2

if you already own those then try gutar hero/rock band
