While I agree that the best movie is the original Matrix in both script, presentation and mythos, and holds up rather well, the sequels are still quite enjoyable. I do not understand why people vilify them so much. I always saw them more like popcorn material. Still, how are they going to retcon the previous trilogy? Still.... Keanu "Breathtaking" Reeves.
@SilentChicken: Indeed. I actually just posted something to that effect. It's actually fascinating that their editors don't call that out. It's very distracting. If they want to be taken seriously as journalists, they definitely need to take a remedial speech class.
Very good conversation. However, the overuse of the word "like" is incredibly annoying. Being that these people are supposed to be journalists, didn't they take a speech class?? Like, they would like, sound like, smarter or like, something.
I think a lot of these reviewers thread on the side of political correctness. Since he claims to have finished it, I bet he enjoyed it to some degree. I also think a lot of these reviewers want to show how eloquent they can write. I wonder how many times he edited the same sentences over and over, thesaurus on hand?
That is the reason why I always take shown demos at any conference with a huge grain of salt. I say they're pre-rended video until proven otherwise. Until they release a playable demo, I "ain't buying" it!
Guess this means that I get to keep my PS3 for a while longer than I thought. With so mnay backlog awesome titles to complete for the current gen (including some due right before the PS4 release). Looks like SONY is abandoning current gen gamers for next gen's. Way to go. I'll just wait for "system seller" games to come about and hopefully a price cut. I am in no hurry to spend my hard earned cash.
@MrNWatson @Insomniak1 OK, On the actual aditorial, I tend to somewhat agree that a lot of developers use graphic violence to promote and sell their software. I tend not to buy such games. As you said, it bores me and I feel they bring nothing interesting to the table. No food for thought. I am much more involved with Ni No Kuni than trying to get a good K/D ration in COD. I vote with my wallet.
