Yeah because RAGE faces both of these problems..oh wait. This isn't last gen. No game is "rare" or on limited production and if there are any it's some niche title that isn't even affected by online passes.

It's so free that a lot of AAA developers that started on PC are using consoles as their leading platforms now.

..and a lot of console developers who never touched the PC are now developing on PC. Your point? You guys can have fun being the lead platform. Any flaws the developers make in their games the modding community will fix on PC. A KOTOR II mod is being made (or maybe it's already completed as I haven't been following it as much) in where it's essentially KOTOR III as it's supposed to continue from where the second one left off from. I'm not even going to go into the millions of mods out there for other games that make them so much more superior. Isn't it great how consolites love to shun the PC and try to discredit mods yet praise features that these developers stole from modders? When Fallout: New Vegas released, everyone was talking about how great Hardcore mode was and how it made the game so much better and realistic. News flash: that was taken from a mod from Fallout 3..
Matchmaking for competitive play. Think of Starcraft 2. Dedicated servers are great for pubbing but horrible for real competition. This whole game is about 5 v 5 competition.

Every Source game...feels the same. It looked good but I thought it would've looked even better on something like UE3.
Just because Xbox Live uses P2P for matchmaking doesn't mean that's the only way to do matchmaking..

..Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network? I was getting this on PC anyway but why even bother releasing it on consoles if it's a downloadable game? No downloadable game has any community left and they all die two weeks after it's release.
1. I clicked on the link and see no mention of it coming to consoles. Where are you guys seeing this? 2. Counter Strike is great, but it belongs on PC. Console gamers don't use teamwork, ever. Kind of defeats the whole purpose of a team-based shooter. That's kind of why Shadowrun and Team Fortress 2 have pretty much died on consoles while Lone Wolf games like Call of Duty, Halo, Gears of War, Killzone, etc. all thrive.
