@H4num4n Nope, sorry. I hate multi-player and what it has done to the video games industry. I prefer a great single player game over a repetitive multiplayer game any day. The core of almost all games lies in the single player. I shouldn't HAVE to get other people to just play a game the same as I shouldn't HAVE to be online all the time when I'm playing a game. If I wanted those I'd go play an MMO.

@GabrielOnuris Also "These figures do not account for digital sales." So wtf? How many did they expect to sell indeed??

@BLKCrystilMage All the endings are exactly the same, therefore making all of your decisions throughout the 3 games useless. Some felt that this also rendered the whole game's promise of a decision mechanic a total lie.

@Renato1984 @N0tYrBeezin Exactly the kind of mentality that companies love. Instead of you, the customer, demanding more from them in order to push them to develop and build bigger and better, you are happy with what you are given.

@Master_Vexov At a glance that sounds awesome, but I'm not entirely sure I like the idea of 1 group of people dominating the whole market for CPUs and GPUs. We would end up being milked for our money (more than we are now).

@Master_Vexov @1shady0brady @IceQBkid What Master_Vexov said. While Titan is good, it is ridicolously overpriced as it doesn't actually double your performance while you are effectively paying double the money of a 690. AMD is good on a budget, but I would not be able to live without the Nvidia dedicated Physx so yeah I guess you could call me a fanboy on that part. But paying a lil extra to get a lil extra back seems worth it and I think there are plenty of games that take advantage of the Physx feature. There may be less in the future now though with all these future consoles being AMD now and all... Sad day for Physx :(

@darksusperia Tbh I haven't seen anything being told about those x86 instruction base CPUs being 64 bit. The only thing that could lead one to believe they are is the amount of RAM really. So yeah I may be wrong on that front since the PS4 is reported to have 8gb which would not be compatible with a x86-32 bit machine. But the fact still remains that next-gen consoles are todays mid-range PCs LOL.

@grove12345 Read the article. Smh at why you comment before reading it. To quote: "The fact the next generation consoles are kind of mid-range PCs is a good thing. From an optimisation perspective the next consoles are based on x86 CPUs, and based on essentially current generation GPUs, so there's really nothing special there." When I heard the PS4 will be x86 based that already started ringing my alarm bells at how much they will suck. x64 is the norm now for all PCs thing which itself took a few years to become so.

@1shady0brady You have clearly not read the article. It is stated that AMD is reporting some heavy loses in their financials while Nvidia is growing. And it is also stated that Nvidia GTX Titan is the most powerful card at the moment hence my remark.

The question at the end has a very simple answer. Because like it was said in the article, these "new" consoles will only be on par with mid-ranged current PCs which only means that they will probably have to be replaced in 2-3 years which is nowhere near enough time for AMD to catch enough momentum to dethrone Nvidia. Therefore that is one reason why Nvidia is not worried at all.
