This isn't being done for consumer ease of use; this is how they're going to "justify" shutting down the old games significantly faster than they use to. By placing them all in the same software app, new releases are now DLC (albeit still priced at $70).
Calling it now: MWII is going to be completely deactivated, including single player, by 2025.
Nine whole dollars... whoah, yeah... big time savings. My condolences to the staff members that have to write these advertisements. I know it's not by choice.
I mean their gaming knick·knack. Not valuable collector's items.
They guys are selling these things like they're baseball cards, Manga/comic Statues, or priceless works of art. They're just statues of Kratos his son, and a replica of Thor's hammer.
Which if it's anything like the other special edition figures. It's going to be miss colored, hollow, and feel like you spent $50 too much on it.
And it's going to be completely worthless a year and a half from now, when you won't be able to sell it for $10, and subsequently, will be able to purchase for <$10.
Unfortunately, impatience is ingrained in gaming culture, exacerbated by marketing and buzz words like "special edition."
